[Cap'tain Fantastic]

Barkov is a very different breed and his coachhas learned to pull out the best of him. It seems that the entire team is ready to die for their captain. Paul Maurice is among the best coaches out there and winning the cup will crown him as one of the best ever.

What a party!!!....6-1 after 2...wow...les OILERS à l'image de la saison qu'ils ont connu...loll...et McDavid sur le point de coiffer GRETZKY pour le plus grand nombre d'assistances en playoffs avec déjà 31.......enjoy the moment...BUT as we say..too little
too late....ça va sûrement brasser en 3ème.

[EagerBeaver]

too little too late.

What this means is that Florida is now set up to win the Stanley Cup at home in South Florida, allowing Lord Stanley to remain in the USA as he has the last 31 years. He is now a naturalized American citizen. Last night's victory by Edmonton was extremely important for these fans as they want to see Lord Stanley's capture and unveiling Tuesday night in person:

[gaby]

..at least OILERS fans were very happy...yesterday was their moment....lol...and McDavid breaks GRETZSKY assist mark...let's give them some credit....relol.

[gaby]

SKINNER has made a BOB of himself yesterday.....évidemment with a 6-1 lead it helps....lol.

[gaby]

GUY BOUCHER et les LEAFS c'est fini.....c'était à prévoir.....alors sera sûrement de retour comme analyste/tv....comme plusieurs ex.....lol.

Columbus Fires Pascal Vincent:

Blue Jackets won't bring back Pascal Vincent as coach

Hired as coach less than a year ago, Pascal Vincent was dismissed by the Columbus Blue Jackets on Monday, following a season in which the club struggled to a 27-43-12 finish and 66 points, by far the fewest total in the Eastern Conference.

www.espn.com

This team sucked monkey balls before Pascal Vincent got there, and they sucked monkey balls after he became head coach. The new GM wants the sucking of animal balls to stop, but making a coaching change now is just the new GM bringing in his own guy and making it look like things are changing. Whether they will remains to be seen.
