Sens are on a roll! They beat Nashville last night & are now only 2 points behind the Leafs in the Atlantic! Don’t look now but believe it or not both the Bruins & Lightning are currently out of the wildcard! The improving Red Wings & Blue Jackets currently hold the two wildcard spots. So many decent teams all bunched up together & the standings can change on any given night.

Avalanche have played great since their trade with Carolina. Necas has fit in great with MacKinnon. Totally the opposite dor the Hurricanes. Rantanen misses MacKinnon badly. Currently no chemistry with Aho. Maybe it has to do with the fact Aho shoots from the opposite side.

The reason for the trade, which I thought wes stupid, was that Necas somehow got into the doghouse in Carolina. He felt disrespected. The Avs, knowing of this mutual discontent, obviously thought Necas would slot in well with MacKinnon, as would anyone with a modicum of talent. Avs fans should STFU and be glad they won the trade.
