America's Most Wanted has been cancelled on Fox after 23 years of busting the bad guys. Aside from the LE ass-kissing which went a little too far in recent years I liked the show. I thought John Walsh did the show straight from his heart instead of because of the money.
The show seemed well done and its Saturday night time slot a natural for the old-geezer-at home-with-the-doors-bolted-and-gun-on-the-coffee-table set confirming his opinion about the diminishing state of society, but I guess I've been one of them since the late '80's, sans the gun and the door bolt. Will you miss the show? Do you think it went downhill? It did seem to overuse the "hero" term.
