Don't know if it's been asked before but always wondered whether SPs usually take notes on their clients after a session (written, mental, or otherwise); for example, hygiene, preferences, respectfulness, overall experience, and so on.
Absolutely I do. It also makes the difference on if there will be another visit or not.
When someone I've seen before reaches out from a new number and they refuse to give me identifiers to be able to link them with a previous visit, I will avoid seeing them again, because if they don't want me to remember who they are, then it means they've done something they are trying to hide from.
I already look for any excuse not to go see someone I haven't already met. So if I've met them before, it only works to their benifit with meeting them again, and happily so. I don't play games with people making me uncomfortable. Coming across as they know some kind of secorite, hiding who they are only leads to never gonna happen again.
I name them memory code words that kind of unlock the memory in my mind of who they are, and how I felt about them, if they were someone I was hoping to hear back from aswell.
Treat those you enjoy well. It might be the first and last time you see them if you don't.
