Big Story About Justin Trudeau may break on Monday

Due to an injunction by the Liberal Party, the Globe and Mail is sitting on a story that may derail the Liberal campaign and finish Trudeau. The story is suppose to break on Monday. According to rumor, Trudeau had sex with a 17 year old student when he was a teacher. It is illegal for someone with authority over kids to have sex with them. I do not know what the age of consent was at the time, so I do not know if it was statutory rape.

The so-called 'big story' about PM Trudeau appears to be fake news. Not surprising that some wingnut would spread this on social media in order to start a rumour since there are many dummies out there who believe anything they read on social media. And these 'dummies' vote.

Anyway even if the story would be true i'm still voting for Trudeau. No big deal since it's legal for an adult to have consensual sex with someone 16-17. Sure it's not okay for a person in a position of authority but i say b.s. to that. Either it's okay or it's not. I find that the law is too grey in that matter. Two people are attracted to one another and want to have sex. But they won't or can't since one is in a position of authority. So he or she quits his job in order to have sex with the other person. They have sex. Then he or she goes back to their old job and having sex is back to being a no-no, but since the previous time happened when one of the two consensual parties was no longer in a position of authority then it was okay at the time. What a bunch of bullshit!

Let me start a rumour right now. I believe i read somewhere on a social media site that Andrew Sheer once had sex with a horse. The horse was only 4 years old if what i read is to be believed. Is it legal to fuck a horse in the first place? And even if it is then is it okay? Should someone running for Prime Minister be allowed to if allegations that he once fucked a horse turns out to be true?

Of course this is all bullshit. But invent a lie and repeat it over and over and there will always be suckers out there who will believe it and repeat it themselves.

In other words that 'big story' which someone posted on Reddit is FAKE NEWS. Don't believe everything you read or hear. Especially from the web.

Very true Doc. Believe it or not, politicians have used this type of slander on their opponents before. Robert Schenkkan's play "All the Way" repeats a story concerning U.S. President Lyndon B. Johnson. According to this story, LBJ wanted to circulate a rumor attacking his opponent in a Texas election. I'm sick & tired of these personal attacks by political parties. It's too much like what's going on south of the border. Canada is usually better than that. Why didn't these attacks come out a few years ago when Trudeau first ran for office? Why now after he's already won & been PM for a few years? It won't change anything for most people who already voted for him and who usually vote Liberal. It may have had he never ran & won before. But he's already been there & from my perspective and the perspective of many he has performed rather well considering the circumstances, has learned the hard way and can only improve from now on. The setbacks has hopefully made him a better person and better PM for the future.

That's why he's getting my vote again and why any bullshit scandal started and brought forward by the right wingnuts won't change a thing for me and many voters. It's a waste of time!

What's more serious in my opinion and that of many is whether or not Andy Scheer is qualified to even run for office. What's he ever accomplish before? Is his allegiance more to the US than Canada? Will he sell out Canada to the US once he gets in office since he's really an American?

Would this shock me? No. Trudeau doesn't come off as a serious man now, and all reports are he wasn't one then. At the same time, it isn't like rumours of him banging students have been following him all his life. If it has hit the stage mainstream reporters are asking about it, it is going to get looked into. It may never go further than "he left and both sides are bound by a confidentiality agreement". Or it may all come out and be true. Or maybe he was fired for incompetence or smoking pot.

We will see.

^^^^^ I have never praised Trump, just hated Hillary more than him, does not mean I like him. The US economy and employment is good, that is something he did. Still think he is an ass though.
