Odd that the temp is going up, that never ever happened in history that global warming happens after an ice age. For the Hawaii fires, not noted by the media that the helicopters could not fly due to extreme winds, probably also caused by climate change. They get over 600 fires a year and most are under control with helicopter assist.

Despite the request being approved, Hawaiian Electric did not act, the lawsuit alleges.
“This wildfire was not only predictable, it was predicted,” Watts added, “both by (Hawaiian Electric) and anyone else that bothered to look into the issue.”

All it took was High winds from a tropical storm blowing in the right direction to trigger this event.
From what I understand it was Administrative Failure combined with High winds.

There is no right to block traffic on a public road. That is not a “peaceful protest”-it’s a criminal act. The cops knew the law and the whiny fat girl did not. She got what she deserved. Great job by those Rangers.
Leftists believe that they can get away with any kind of protest that is in the service of one of their favorite causes. But they lose their minds when right wingers engage in an equally disruptive protest such as January 6. The difference is that these environmentalists will get off with a slap on the wrist (just like the violent leftist rioter of summer 2020) while the right wing rioters of Jan. 6 are being sentenced to years in prison. It’s time we treated everyone the same when they break the law.

Anyone who breaks the law - be they peaceful environmental protestors, violent rioters and insurrectionists attempting to disrupt the peaceful transfer of presidential power, or a former POTUS - should be held accountable for their actions. It is absurd to suggest that every illegal action has the same gravity and deserves similar punishment. That's a ridiculous comparison.

Hottest day on record was around 1931 at 135 degrees with a population of 1.5 billion people. Not denying climate change but the media and political embellishment is top tier.
We are improving quite a bit but some still demand it be done now and not in a decade or so. These same people drive cars, use airplanes, heat their homes.
On July 20, 2021 the temperature was 135 degrees in Death Valley. What happens on any one day is weather. Climate is weather over time. The planet is warming dangerous and has been for decades. Actions to reduce greenhouse gases is required TODAY and cannot wait another decade or so.
We are taking action, relax. Nothing Canada does or can do will alter climate change, we could vanish like the Anasazi and nothing would change. According to an ongoing temperature analysis led by scientists at NASA's Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS), the average global temperature on Earth has increased by at least 1.1° Celsius (1.9° Fahrenheit) since 1880.
That is to be expected with the added 9.2 billion people.
The governments will spend trillions, they along with their friends will make hundreds of millions and nothing will change, it never got worse and they will claim victory.
Same as if we did not go full retard ( From Tropic Thunder ) and continue on a feasible and thoughtful pace.
The Earth's population is presently 8 billion. Since 1980 the rate of warming has more that doubled what it had been over the previous century. Yes action has been taken to mitigate greenhouse gases, but much more action is necessary. There remain those who have denied the existence of man-made planet warming and those, who no longer call it a hoax, but are against the actions required to address the urgency of the problem. Those folks need to stop being obstructionists and be part of the solution not part of the problem.
