I see people walking alone down an empty street wearing a mask, and i doubt they fall into the vulnerable category. People are paranoid!
The Connecticut Casinos are reopening June 1, despite dire concerns by the State of Connecticut and the Governor stating that he will publicly discourage citizens to refrain from going to the Casinos. In case you are wondering why Governor Lamont can't order them to remain shut down, he can't. He has no jurisdiction to do so as they are both considered sovereign nations within the State of Connecticut. They are on the lands of federally recognized Native Americans and as such are tribal nations. More on this developing controversy here:

It's certainly worth considering, however in fairness it should also be mentioned that the New York Post is essentially an arm of the Trump admin.

the editorial board of the ny times, one of trump's favourite targets, has called on may 1 for an investigation of tara reade's allegations against joe biden. something which trump himself has shied from so far to my knowledge
in the parallel universe the trump fan clubs lives in, when anybody dares to critique trump or points out his failings it automatically means that theyre siding with the democrats

I think it's pretty easy to understand. The people who want the economy and their lives back are approving of Trump efforts to promote reopening. There are many small business owners suffering terribly loan or no loan, and their concerns should not be summarily dismissed. They are facing bankruptcy in many cases and they will not be getting bailed out the same way as airlines are.

It shouldn't need to be pointed out that while every media outlet has a bias, some are partisan to a ridiculous degree. To be fair, the NY Post isn't as bad a Breitbart, but it's not a lot better either.

No, it does not. The international reporting practically disappeared, and every internal reporting ends up with the connection to Trump shortcomings. There is practically no exception and looks like a communist propaganda with the mandatory reference to Marxism-Leninism. It became propaganda channel pure and simple that does not leave any room for people to form their own opinion. Fox is not better, but it always was like that whereas transformation of the CNN occurred rapidly after the Tramp election.

I watch ABC and I find their reporting fair and to the point. If Tramp gets caught in a lie, which happens almost daily....why should they hold back from reporting it ?
Lester Holt on NBC is the man- he shoots it straight. There is no smugness in his delivery like you see with Anderson Cooper on CNN, who frankly is a somewhat entitled prick who grew up with the silverest of spoons in his mouth as an Heir of the Vanderbilt fortune. I do give him credit for not being a trust fund baby his whole life and at least doing something with himself, but he is an entitled prick nonetheless.
Dude, the only one I can see go head to head with trump in a debate is Pelosi. Can’t think of anyone else who would even come close, even Cuomo. All would get slaughtered
