Yes, Trump has said it a thousand times.

I understand that whatever Trump says, you repeat it. Hope you haven't bought too much bleach?
C'mon sene, your better than that. Trump has nothing to do with it. Wuhan China was where it all began. A quote from a news organization you should be familiar with:

Wuhan, the original epicenter of China's Covid-19 outbreak, wants tourists to come back

According to the science it’s not restaurants, bars, or gyms.
I tend to agree. Perhaps the one word you may have added is “... anymore”. it no doubt started there, but I personally notice a high degree of social distancing compliance in most public places I’ve been to, both in Canada and the US. However, where I noticed most abided by health protocols earlier in the year when at home or how they interacted with friends and family, I now observe that that has gone to shit. People say one thing, but seem caveat it with myriad of exceptions. X-mas and New Years will be a shit show, and no government closures or lockdowns will stop it, but it plays well in the news.

An interesting quote from Ontario’s Barney Rubble: “The trend just continues to grow, no matter what we’re doing,” Ford acknowledged at a news conference Thursday.

I think you are too pessimistic. The virus will be gone at noon of January 20th sharp.
I hope: you are not serious? It's a sarcasm, isn't it?

It was Nov 11, 2020

This week saw even more high-profile Republicans announce that they were leaving the GOP, including former McCain campaign chief Steve Schmidt. But should we really be welcoming these people with open arms? Have they really seen the error of their ways? Farron Cousins explains why skepticism for these individuals is absolutely necessary.

Lying scumbag Fauci is at it again.
He claimed to have personally taken a trip to the North Pole to vaccinate Santa Claus and measure his efficacy so that children all over the world can have presents.
Seems similar to the fairy tale he was spewing about masks not too long ago lol.
Biden I am sure will give him the title of Secretary of the Elves he is the right height after all.

United States has More Deaths From COVID-19 than Iceland.

Can you believe it? I can only blame Trump for this. (Insert a few bleach memes here).
I knew he was responsible for getting us involved in Vietnam, the Korean War the Great Depression, the death of the Archduke and the French and Indian War but I didn’t know he did this too.

Quebecers are frustrated at not being able to celebrate Christmas with their family, many Quebecers are in a hurry to book a flight abroad, especially to the south, for the holiday season, according to travel agencies.

Last Saturday there were 12,000 Quebec travelers at the airport. They only think of themselves.

I find it a lot of misunderstanding and selfishness to come back with a sunburn.

Will they do quarantine on their return? not all of them are certain.

Meanwhile, American teenager Skylar Mack was sentenced to 4 months in prison for breaking the 14 day quarantine rule in the Cayman Islands to see her boyfriend's jet ski competition. Now her family is looking for Trump to help bail her out. This is the snowflake generation, which believes that when you fuck up and are caught, you should be able to say you are sorry and move on with no punishment- no harm, no foul, once you sincerely apologize. But that's just not the way things work, so I think this young cutie will just have to do her time:

What are you talking about? What about the snowflakes that burned and toppled statues and looted and in some cases murdered in NYC and on the West Coast? And there were no consequences. In many cases Hollywood types like Steve Carrell bail them out. You have extreme left wing lunatics like the new DA in LA that wants to drop enhances charges on murderers because they happen to be a certain color and this girl goes out on a beach to watch a race and she gets 4 month prison? She should of burned something down and that would be fine.

On another note: I found a massive example of rules for thee and not for me: Saturday Night Libe which has not been funny since the 1980’s is an essential business and they are allowed to do their left wing comedy skits without masks and social distancing while the restaurant business in NYC is destroyed? Follow the science: https://thegreggjarrett.com/nyc-eco...filming-continues-without-covid-restrictions/

Dr. Birx travels to vacation home to
celebrate Thanksgiving and is caught red handed ignoring her own guidelines:

When this hypocrite was confronted she set the record straight. She was not at her vacation home to celebrate Thanksgiving. She was there to winterize the vacation home and it was the day after Thanksgiving. I felt much better knowing this. The “woke” virus doesn’t strike on the day after Thanksgiving just like it doesn’t strike until 10pm in bars and clubs. We also know that it doesn’t spread at BLM or ANTIFA mostly peaceful riots.

You sheeple are idiots. All this shutdown crap only ensures one thing: The economy crashes while the woke virus spreads.

Look behind you.
I flew into Montreal on Saturday, plane was packed, every seat taken. Odd that ma and pa's pub needs to shutdown but you can cram 200+ strangers onto a plane for 4.5 hrs and all is good.
Some do not even think about it and just blindly follow what they are told, my guess is that some read " their media of choice " to see how to think that day.
I am having my kids and my ex over for Christmas, already talked to my neighbors and they are doing the same, fuck what the politicians say.

Some people I know (in Montreal) figured out that it would cheaper to get the whole family together and go on a trip to Mexico than to pay the fine that the government has applied. This is not an isolated case.

What are you talking about? And what does this have to do with what I posted? One person breaking a law in one state entitles another person in another country to break a law regarding Covid 19 restrictions? That's now a legal defense?

It's a very simple proposition. We are a country of laws just like the Cayman Islands is a country of laws. I obey the laws, reason why is I don't want to be fined or go to jail. I had to travel to Florida for a family emergency at great personal and professional inconvenience and then quarantine for 14 days on my return. Reason why is it's the law. I believe the penalty was a $1000 fine for the offense at that time. If I didn't quarantine or broke it and got caught I wouldn't have reason to complain about a fine. This person broke quarantine and (unlike me) removed a tracking device. She traveled to the Cayman Islands knowing you quarantine, have to wear a tracking device and go to jail if you violate the quarantine. They are a sovereign country and when you go there you obey the law or pay the price and don't have Daddy cry to the US government. To me it's pretty simple and you are just pulling in your own political beliefs that have nothing to do with anything I posted. My post was not in any way political. Either we are a society of laws and they get enforced against law breakers or we are anarchies and there is no law or people picking and choosing what laws to obey. That's really the choice. I didn't post about anything else or any other situation.

eh! If it was up to me, I would leave those snow birds stranded and not allow them to come back... good frakking riddance.
Bunch of selfish morons. I got no respect for those as well as anti-maskers & anti-vaxxers.

Those snowbirds didn’t break any laws.
They were allowed to fly to Florida or drive to Florida from across the border and as long as they obey quarantine requirements and laws on their way back, they are Canadian citizens, why wouldn’t they be allowed back.
How is that different than people going shopping here, or to work or to school.
Teachers have to be in front of 30 kids day after day and in hallways, they are with other teachers in staff rooms all day yet if they invite one of those same teachers to their homes it is illegal and they are liable to a fine of $1500 that is what I call being completely stupid and moronic, but I don’t expect anything less from politicians.
As far as I know these snowbirds wore masks and obeyed social distancing guidelines.
Government doesn’t want anyone to travel and considers it too dangerous, simple close all airports and borders to leisure travel, no exceptions, don’t blame people on exercising legal options.

they did not break any laws but it does not mean its ok because I am pretty sure if they are wiling to travel to other place where covid is a big issue (like the south), then we can't expect them to quarantine when they come back.
Don't get me wrong, seeing family and trying at least to stay in a reasonable family bubble is ok because everyone needs the support of their family in those hard time. Seeing a few SP also for the same reason. But going away on purpose where you will meet & cross path with hundreds of people is something else.

^^^^^ They will be gone till April or May, not just a two week getaway. Go to the airport and watch the international flights come in, do you think all these people isolate for two weeks?

White House COVID response coordinator Dr. Deborah Birx says the backlash has been 'very difficult' on her family.

She should be charged and fined for violating her law. That’s be her retirement gift.
