This second paragraph is so true. It makes no sense. Bending to the peer pressure and the PC police and virtue signaling has become more important than doing what’s right. What about all the poverty these politicians are creating by destroying small businesses all over the country.I think this is actually STN's point (at least one of them). A year ago there were no deaths, and a year from now (hopefully) there will not be any more. But for the rest of his long list of sobering deaths, these tragedies, which many can be considered on par with COVID, have been statistics for many years prior and will continue to be for many many years to come, long after COVID becomes a movie or best selling novel.
I consider all that is COVID to be a terrible tragedy in our world's history, but at times I can't help but question what seems to be a disproportionate response when measured against how we have addressed those other calamities.
Really, reading this thread they all had me convinced it was Trump who started this virus.According to the science it’s not restaurants, bars, or gyms. As far as where the virus came from that’s easy. China, more specifically Wuhan China.
Yes, Trump has said it a thousand times.China, more specifically Wuhan China.
I think you are too pessimistic. The virus will be gone at noon of January 20th sharp.it is waiting for Trump to be out and then you will see a miraculous turn around within days that Biden takes the helm.
C'mon sene, your better than that. Trump has nothing to do with it. Wuhan China was where it all began. A quote from a news organization you should be familiar with:Yes, Trump has said it a thousand times.
I understand that whatever Trump says, you repeat it. Hope you haven't bought too much bleach?
I tend to agree. Perhaps the one word you may have added is “... anymore”. it no doubt started there, but I personally notice a high degree of social distancing compliance in most public places I’ve been to, both in Canada and the US. However, where I noticed most abided by health protocols earlier in the year when at home or how they interacted with friends and family, I now observe that that has gone to shit. People say one thing, but seem caveat it with myriad of exceptions. X-mas and New Years will be a shit show, and no government closures or lockdowns will stop it, but it plays well in the news.According to the science it’s not restaurants, bars, or gyms.
I hope: you are not serious? It's a sarcasm, isn't it?I think you are too pessimistic. The virus will be gone at noon of January 20th sharp.
I think he was talking about the worst Virus ever, named Trump.I hope: you are not serious? It's a sarcasm, isn't it?

This week saw even more high-profile Republicans announce that they were leaving the GOP, including former McCain campaign chief Steve Schmidt. But should we really be welcoming these people with open arms? Have they really seen the error of their ways? Farron Cousins explains why skepticism for these individuals is absolutely necessary.
What are you talking about? What about the snowflakes that burned and toppled statues and looted and in some cases murdered in NYC and on the West Coast? And there were no consequences. In many cases Hollywood types like Steve Carrell bail them out. You have extreme left wing lunatics like the new DA in LA that wants to drop enhances charges on murderers because they happen to be a certain color and this girl goes out on a beach to watch a race and she gets 4 month prison? She should of burned something down and that would be fine.Meanwhile, American teenager Skylar Mack was sentenced to 4 months in prison for breaking the 14 day quarantine rule in the Cayman Islands to see her boyfriend's jet ski competition. Now her family is looking for Trump to help bail her out. This is the snowflake generation, which believes that when you fuck up and are caught, you should be able to say you are sorry and move on with no punishment- no harm, no foul, once you sincerely apologize. But that's just not the way things work, so I think this young cutie will just have to do her time:
