Sasha Grey is the actress ... the call girl's name was Chelsea. IMO the movie was horrible. She was overly consumed with what she was wearing everyday. But maybe that is real life being played out.

Dont agree, I really liked how Sasha acted in 2 scenes when she was "fooled" by big fat asshole and when she was sad as she had some feelings with another guy that finally dumped her.
BTW she's not a "mainstream actress" :lol: so can't compare...

but an awesome porn actress!

Hi all -- Anybody know where one can get/see the 2008 documentary? I checked at my video club yesterday and all they have is the 2009 fiction with Sasha Grey.

I took the opportunity to rent the 2009 fiction movie and was at first disapointed. Basically, it is more subdued, less catchier than what I expected. But on second thoughts, I do appreciate Sasha Grey's performance. She sounds real, her relationship with her real-life boyfriend is well portrayed, with its inevitable challenges.

Paradoxically, the trailer from the documentary, which Valerie posted in the first post, tells me the documentary film is catchier than the fiction.

Well, got to see the 2008, so-called documentary. It comes across as a fiction movie which dresses up as a documentary. I actually found it was better than the 2009 Soderberg film. It explores the illusion of GFE quite convincingly. The actor David Lewis seems credible.

It may be cliché but the idea of a client falling in love following a GFE experience is not ridiculous.It happened to a good many hobbyists, it happened to me 12 years ago and the relationship lasted 9 months...
