These past couple days i've watched the first three episodes of a new series on FX called "Tyrant".

It's actually pretty good & my plan was to watch only the first 10 minutes of the first episode and watch the rest later.

However, i was hooked from the start and wound up watching all three episodes over the past two days.

Some of the people involved with the series 'Homeland' and '24' were intially behind that project. Of course, it attracted controversy even before it was first aired, mostly because
some claim in unfairly stereotypes arabs/muslims, it's a fictional arab country that was filmed in Israel, and the main actor just happens to be a caucasian playing an arab/muslim.

But personally i think the acting has been superb, especially the convincing performance of the main actor.

The story kind of reminds me of the Godfather, where the main actor in 'Tyrant' kind of reminds me of Michael Corleone during the first 'Godfather' movie, where he has no intention of getting involved in the 'family business', yet winds up being pulled into it by circumstances.

On another note, i've heard good things of "Vikings", but i've never seen it on when i happen to be in front of the tv. I'll have to check on which channel it plays.

Definitely agreed with Game of Thrones. I also read the books way back when. so seeing some of the "main" characters being killed off was not a shocker to me as it was to some others I know that watch but did not read.
I also like House of Lies, and Castle is one that I find I watch allot, but I think that's more because I'm a Fillion Fan.

If you liked the first seasons of L.A. LAW you should like this one. It's extremely entertaining and full of surprises. As an added bonus, the women on the show are gorgeous!

I can't wait for Arrow season 2 to start in french. Its funny how DC seem to struggle badly for there superheroes movie, but they seem to do pretty well with TV series. Arrow is so fun because it has part of that dark knight feeling to it, but with its own identity.

The other show i watch, Supernatural, well.... lets just say season 9 was pretty lame in general... im curious to see what season 10 have in store but my hopes are not too high...

I guess i should watch more shows, but i just hate watching shows on TV, never have time to watch them, hate commercials. Usually i wait til a show is over and buy the whole thing on DVD... Supernatual i get them online as soon as they release, and Arrow is the exeption cause i watch it with my mother... she enjoy it lol but she don't speak english so we watch in french, and since i started the show in french anyway, i rather keep it in french for the rest.

I know, who can watch TV anymore with 5-6 commercials every 10 minutes. Everything is online with no commercials.

Yeah 1 Hour reduced to 40 mins commercial removed... thats 20 mins of shit to take... Even with the fast forwarding(lets face it, it aint new, we just replaced VHS tapes by cable box with HDD) it annoys me so badly. Plus with DVDs i can watch the whole season in a week if i want to... hate waiting the whole year for a season...

When i was younger on VRAK TV they showed Buffy and those teen series, yet they always took only 2-3 weeks break in the winter, but as seasons are filmed in the states, they always goes on break 2-3 times for multiple weeks each, and it annoys me.. thanksfully i download, cause if i would watch it on TV i would surely miss an episode or 2, not always watching if the show is back on... ad i watch so little tv, not like i can keep track by looking at the channel...

LilyHammer series season 3 is now available on Netflix. I started watching the first 2 episodes last night. I like this show, so refreshing and besides the funny characters, it gives a good idea about Norway and its people. Some of the action takes place in Sao Paulo this year. I guess I am going to be all LilyHammered this weekend!

I'm enjoying the Breaking Bad spinoff show Better Call Saul which is getting better and better with each episode.

This week's in particular was especially good and explained the events that led up to Mike going from being a cop to the ruthless crook.

I also love how he came up with his name change from Jimmy McGill to Saul Goodman....Thug to Jimmy "what's your name man?" My name's "S'all, S'all good man!" Hahaha. Very clever!
