Just finished season 6 of Archer the other day. Still the funniest, and smartest show on tv imo.
Also, i miss watching Legit, jim jeffries is a funny mf. Two seasons was not enough.

I enjoy watching a few mainstream TV series but the latest two that have caught my attention and are quite different from the typical cop/lawyer/family drama theme are Orphan Black and Resurrection.

I've almost completely fallen out of watching tv, because shows are all pretty much soap operas. The cop/lawyer/family/(and doctor!) dramas are all formulaic and pointless. Someone recently got me into Orphan Black, though. It's a good show. Just starting season 2 now. I'm looking forward to Fear the Walking Dead, The Expanse, and that X-Files mini-series that should be coming out at the end of the year. Other than that, it's pretty much The Walking Dead & right now Better Call Saul, although that last show hasn't sold me 100%. I'm willing to give it another shot when it comes back. And I have to admit that I've been watching The Last Man on Earth on demand, even though the main character is a total asshole. I'm not sure why.

Not a favorite show or anything, but I've noticed two new TV shows that might be interesting to the darksiders and nightcrawlers of MERB:

Topless Prophet on Cinemax
3AM on Showtime

Topless Prophet is about strip clubs in Detroit. Notably Flight Club, which any American SC connoisseur has or should have heard of. :thumb: Show profiles Alan Markovitz, who owns Flight Club, as well as Penthouse and Coliseum in Detroit, and formerly Booby Trap in Dearborn. Pretty fake 'reality' show, but mildly amusing and well-shot. They cast well. :p Or Detroit strippers just look damn good. (Anyone who says Detroit is a black hole with nothing good... There... My gateway 'drug.')

3AM is more reality-based, follows the late-night scene in NYC. One of the storylines follows an escort. Interesting... Brazen to film. Interesting commentary from the girl in confessionals...

Strike Back
The Last Ship
Tyrant

Hopefully Season 2 of The Strain is not the let down like Season 1.

Sad that White Collar ended early this year as that was my favorite show as it had that Thomas Crown Affair ring to it.
