CYE is one of my all-time favorite comedy series right after Seinfeld. And so far this season has been great!! The most recent one featuring Jon Hamm was brilliant! But to be honest....they all are!

That's probably the best episode this season so far (Curb Your Enthusiasm). Jon Hamm acting like Larry David is pure gold!

Also the episode where he's using the "Make America Great Again" hat to dissuade people from socializing with him was pretty good too, lol.

My favorite character on Curb was Bob Epstein who played Larry's buddy Marty Funkhauser. You may remember Bob Epstein from his reoccurring role as Super Dave Osborne, the world's worst daredevil in the 90's? He had his own show and he was on Letterman and all the late night talk shows.. Anyway, Bob died of cancer in the off season. In the show, they replaced Bob with Vince Vaughn who plays Freddy Funkhauser, Marty Funkhauser's half brother. I miss Marty who always had a confrontational role with Larry over the years. Larry also ruined Marty's Mother and fathers funerals and Larry's advice led to the death of the Pride of the Funkhausers, Marty's favorite nephew when he was mauled by a bull in the running of the bulls in Spain. Larry ruined that funeral as well. I was hoping that Curb would kill off Marty Funkhauser and have Larry ruin his funeral as well. Instead, the show insists that Marty is in China where he has found a girlfriend. Too soon probably? Maybe next season? Great show .

Below is Bob Einstein's favorite clip from his old show Super Dave Osborne:

These old clips are still hilarious. It's too bad they couldn't do something about the damned canned laughter which diminishes the watch-ability of these great clips.

RIP Bob Einstein.

I'm rewatching the Sopranos and, with the exception of season 1, I'm really enjoying it. It is better than I remembered. Skip season #1 and go right to season #2. Seasons #3 and #4 are outstanding. I'm 3/4's through season #5. It has been a nice pass time during the quarantine. I can't wait for MLB.

Homeland fell right off a cliff in terms of quality in season 6, but I still enjoy it for whatever good stuff it still has.

Westworld is great.

Westworld on HBO has been really good this season. Very dark and morbid. Loving it!

For me the best season of 'Homeland' was the first season. The others were also fairly good, but the first one remains the best one. Which is normal for most of the better tv series (except Seinfeld) and movies where the first movie is usually better than its sequels (except Godfather II). This upcoming Sunday's episode of 'Homeland' will be the last one of the season...and ever.

As for 'Westworld' i really enjoyed the first season. So far this season has been my least-favorite of the three. If find it difficult to follow & not enough 'Westworld' types of scenarios. It's still called "Westworld", right? So why no more cowboys themes?

What i would have liked the series to be was in its first season have its 'Westworld' theme like it did throughout that season. Then the next season either keep the 'Westworld' theme but with entirely different characters & actors. Or do a different type of theme season after season. This season that Nazi Germany theme may have been an interesting one had then kept the same formula as season one. But now it's basically a futuristic tv series with robots fighting one another & humans. But i suppose this is why some of the die-hard fans like it this way.

These days i'm back to watching favorite tv series from my teenage or earlier years. Every day i watch an episode of "Partridge Familiy" and "Hogan's Heroes". Those two great series really stood the test of time! And boy was Susan Dey ever hot!!

One miniseries i'm anxious to begin watching is "Cardinal". Last night's episode was the third episode of the new season but i've yet to watch an episode yet. I prefer recording the entire season and then binge-watch it. I loved the previous seasons!

The Good Doctor - There has never been a better time for a feel-good drama that celebrates courage, kindness & the resilience of the human spirit. Plus it’s smart & entertaining like the series, House but w/o the crankiness & nihilism.

Homeland was a great series. I disagree with what someone said about it "falling off a cliff" with the 6th season onwards. I think the standard has been maintained pretty well, except for maybe the third season (where they dragged out the Brody storyline). Season one was arguably the best because of Brody. But the show's done well after they moved on from that too. The friendship/bond between Carrie and Saul is such a big part to that show (played wonderfully by both Claire Danes and Mandy Patinkin respectfully).

And that series finale...what a finale! I never would have guessed things were going to go the way they did. It was a pretty good finale, imho and I was satisfied.
