Well ,since one of my favourite series was Breaking Bad,
When I saw a add ,for a series called...... Ozark,
saying it was a replacement for breaking bad.
I thought id check it out.

I was sold in minutes, of watching the first episode!
1st season consists of 10 episodes and this series was renewed aug 15 2017 for a 2nd full season!

I'm enjoying the new Star Trek series (ie. Star Trek: Discovery). It's a bit different than the rest of the Trek shows (completely serialized, ie. one big story), and the main character isn't the captain. They just finished the fall half of the season, and the rest will start up again in January. Can't wait!

All the cop shows are gone, they should bring back programs like NYPD Blue.

If you haven't seen it yet, you should check out The Wire. Most people say its the best police tv show "of all time".

I also enjoyed The Shield as well.

Stranger Things

I just got through watching the 2 seasons of Stranger Things and I highly recommend this wildly entertaining and well done science fiction/horror series. Although created by the Duffer Brothers, the series seems like it could have been written by Stephen King. The story and plot is very Kingesque. There are also elements that are similar to the X Files, although Stranger Things is not quite as dark as X Files.

The show is carried by a core group of 5 12-14 year old child actors who are absolutely fantastic, led by young English actress Millie Bobby Brown, who repeatedly steals scenes and emerges as the real star of the show. However all the child actors do a great job with their characters.

I can't wait for season 3 (it's now on hiatus), but not sure where the story would go from here. It seems like the denouement has already happened at the end of season 2, so I will be curious what they do for a season 3.

As a huge fan of The Punisher character AND the Daredevil season 2 portrayal by John Berthal, i was disapointed by the stand alone series. First of all i tough the origin story was done in Daredevil. I wanted him to be on full Punisher mode for his own show. But it felt more like some origin story 2.0 and a PTSD show...

At some point i was wondering when The Punisher would actually... you know... PUNISH criminals. Maybe it was because he was used sparringly in DD but he was so good. Last 2 episodes where amazing but it took way too long to get there. As my friend dubbed the show's title ... 2 guys in a bunker with PTSD ... lol.

I still keep faith and hope for season 2 to be more violent and action packed.

Personally right now i am enjoying Lethal Weapon season 2, i had lots of fun with Season 1 last year and so far season 2 is just as good. I feel it capture well the dynamic of the old movies and i like the actors.
