Wow! You picked alot of good series to binge watch. I have binged watched so many shows that I would not have without the COVID shutdown. The Deuce and the Wire were by the same creative team and may of the characters were based on real people.
The Deuce really captured the way 42nd Street used to be in NYC. I don't know if you saw the little behind the scenes after each of the episodes, but they discussed the real life stories behind the episodes. Oh and I will never look at potato soup the same way ever again. LOL.
The Wire was another classic that I recently rewatched because it is so relevant to what is going on in U.S. cities today. And Omar will always be one of my favorite TV characters.
Like I said, I relied on a friend's suggestions for most of these (He has no interest in This is us lol). He picks really good ones. Although apparently after The wire, I will have gone through all the top ones, based on my taste. He suggested Fargo.
I didn't see the behind the scenes from The Deuce. Or I think only one, I'm not sure they were included in the torrents I downloaded. I'm going to check it out.
Also really liked Sharp objects even though it's only one season.
Really disappointed The OA ended after two seasons.
Watching Dirty John and Betty on Netflix right now and it is depressing/disturbing/enraging. Can't decide whether to stop or keep watching. But haven't been able to stop so I guess I'm watching lol
