Its really not my style at all so no can't really imagine. But with friends i did do some pranks in the past and i been on the receiving end of them too. Once at a camp fire my cousin kicked the legs of my plastic chair to see me fall (we were both drunk and in our 20s then). Another of my cousin actually used my cell while i was in the store (he waited in the car for me) to text my female roomate at the time something lets say slightly "unapropriate". I was lucky he made a typo and it look less weird because of it. But still i had to explained to her it was him and he was trying to laugh at my expense.

Even recently i sent one of those jump scare prank from facebook to a friend and he was MAAAADDD like so mad, i didn't knew he was so "receptive" to them. Was first time i sent him one. Now i know to not do it again. Sometimes you need to learn about some things...

I am still trying to process why Martin Kove bit Alicia Hannah-Kim, and why she declined to press charges, despite her apparent anger in that video and her mocking of Kove's explanation that it was a "playful" bite. My conclusion is that this is part of the flighty, free spirited behavior that is inherent in and indigenous to the acting profession. They ate flakes and have different standards of behavior. That's how I explain it.

I am on the last episode of Untamed on Netflix, a 6 episode limited series murder mystery set in Yosemite National Park in California. It's very entertaining, and if you are afraid of heights or closed spaces, terrifying, as it has some scenes that prey upon those fears. The series stars Eric Bana as a lead investigator with ISB and Sam Neill as the chief park Ranger. From what I have read a lot of the series was shot in British Columbia, but some scenes were also shot in Yosemite, and there are numerous money shots of El Capitan and Half Dome. The opening scene, shot on the granite face of El Capitan, is beyond terrifying if you are afraid of heights!

For those of you with an interest in or knowledge of US currency, the US quarter dollar minted in 2010 features El Capitan on one side of the coin. The murder mystery in the series centers on a woman who is either pushed, or else jumps from the summit of El Capitan while being chased.

There's a new series on Starz called Hightown. Takes place in Provincetown, Mass. Lesbians, strippers, drugs, murders, cops, and more lesbians! I've been enjoying it so far.

Fast forward 5 years from IamNY's Post above from June 2020. Hightown ran for 3 seasons on Starz and has just been picked up by Netflix.

Season 1 is excellent! As mentioned above, lots of graphic sex, both lesbian and heterosexual. But it's a well done police drama with interesting characters. The plot of season 1 focuses on the investigation of the murder of a junkie who is a confidential informant for the State Police on Cape Cod drug dealers. The plot unfolds from the viewpoints of both the police, the drug dealers and the end user junkies, who are mostly abusing OxyContin and heroin, which are essentially the same drug synthetically. The season ends with some surprising plot twists.

Season 2 (I am 6 episodes in) carries over many of the same characters from season 1, and adds a few new characters. The season begins with the overdose deaths of 3 popular teenagers and the investigation into who supplied them with the cocktail drugs, which included the very potent carfentanil. Carfentanil is an extremely potent opioid known mostly for its use tranquilizing elephants.

I am pretty sure that the show runner Rebecca Cutter is a lesbian. The lesbian sex scenes are graphic, over the top and seem gratuitous to me, but the series is actually very well done and acted. I have enjoyed it.

I just marathoned the whole first season of "The Pitt" . I thought it was excellent. Casting is strong all around. Solid directing as well. I thought it was E.R. on steroids. I strongly recommand.

Also watched this recently. Loved it. IDK if any other shows have tried the same thing but I like how the entire season takes place over just 15 hours. Perfect for a binge watch if you really want to feel like you're in the ER.
I was surprised by how graphic it gets. It's an ER show, so blood is expected. I was not expecting a full-on birthing and multiple penises. Imagine being the FX/props team and being told "We're going to need a baby and a vagina capable of pushing said baby through it".

I'm out of new shows on HBO to watch, so I'm watching old episodes of Last Week Tonight With John Oliver. It's kind of fascinating/sad to watch America's collapse and know that it's only going to get worse.

Dexter: Original Sin and Dexter: Resurrection

Original Sin spends a bit too much time going over stuff that was already covered in the original Dexter show. It's set several years before, so a new cast. The young Dexter and Deb actors do a great job. The rest, not so much.

Resurrection is more my speed. It takes place right after Dexter: New Blood. Great cast and decent story, though it's very reminiscent of The Sandman story about the serial killer convention. There's still one episode left, so I'll need to wait until Friday to know if it wraps up well.

I'm good with no more Original Sin. The original Dexter series already covered enough of his early life.

I wonder if they'll make a season 2 of Resurrection. More likely they'll just make another spin-off. Not sure why they do that exactly. I think it have something to do with streaming rights and licenses.

Not a real TV series per definition but more like a reality show. It's Japanese and called Kiss or Die.
The setting is few actors are invited to film an advertisement. In reality they are brought into an all improvised/as lib situation where there is a storyline they follow.
Funny part is most of the actresses are AV actresses that try at first to make the actors kiss them
