He said it wasn't just a Grand Prix thing either, but permanent! Keli is the same. I then checked Angel Escorts because I really want to repeat with Alysson to see her new breasts and saw her, Stacey and Bianka are at $220 now. I mean I want to see her, but man, it's also $10 extra driver's fee for me because of where I live. Asservissante also boosting their rates to $200 across the board. What is going on here? I'm not a cheap guy and never complain about rates, but this is an alarming trend.
I mean you have to draw the line somewhere. I guess it's time to look for new $180 gems and leave the "star" girls alone (i'm speaking for myself here). Well, super breasty Giana is still $180 as is Sunny at Eleganza or Angels (not sure where at the moment). Also Mary @ Chloe's is $160 an hour. That's a great value right there! Kim is also $180. GoodGirls and Montreal Angels seem to have some interesting girls all at $180 across the board. Even Nadya's has some very unique and hot girls at a reasonable $200 Incall.
As the Mods say, if you don't like the rates, nobody is forcing you to see those girls and they are right on. I haven't been around much but I suspect the rates will return to normal (whatever that is), after the Grand Prix. Also, tourists from the States and Europe are not as wealthy as they once were. So, the SP's who are asking too much will likely be sitting around, unless they adjust their prices, which may flutuate hourly during the Grand Prix.
But if the demand supports the higher prices, then that will be the new norm. And more power to the SP's!

(On business trips, I usually run into more Americans in TO than Canadians. But when I visit relatives in the suburbs of TO, that's where I get to mingle with locals. Yes, most agency rates start at 240/hr or 250/hr, for incall though.
Toronto has half-hour incall rates of:
* 140 - Roommates
* 150 - Select, Toronto GF, etc
* 160 - Dreammakers, Mirage, Sassy, etc
Outcall is less popular in Toronto (most of you should know), and one hour rates are:
* 250 - Select, Toronto Passion
* 270 - Cupids
* 270+ - most other major agencies

Imagine paying $300/hr for SP that claim to be GFE in Calgary that do not provide , very lfk and zero sensuality. Montreal still is a hell of a deal. :smile:
Why ruin the F-1? Bad enough that the retard students may try to disrupt the event. Just avoid the agency but call them to let them know.
Kelli/Summer - I see John's side....He has a hot commodity and is merely maximizing profits - Sell out and sell up. It is the law of supply and demand. Also, John has to show that he is the best manager/boss/agency owner/businessmen for his top girls. He has had girls stolen (or they choose to leave). He has had to change his approach in order to keep them. On the other hand, we helped make those girls who they are with all our posts and positive reviews and calls to the agency. Like Rumples says, vote with your penis and find another girl. Let the girls sit in the back seat of the drivers car a few nights. That will get their rates down.
John has a problem here. Just as you don't want to own a $400,000 house in a $200,000 neighborhood. Yes, there are indies, apparently, who manage to get that kind of money per hour, but, for the most part, they have professionally designed websites. John doesn't have a 240$ clientele and, I believe, will have trouble selling these girls at this price.
There are two possible reason for his raising the price to 240$. 1) He believes he has a market for them at this rate. You guys will prove him right or wrong. (You guys because I won't call John until he proves that he can deliver within an hour of the promised time.) or 2) They've threatened to leave and go indy.
I agree, Rumples. I think John is probably a good enough business man to realize that he doesn't have a $240 clientele. So my guess is that the rate increase is most likely due to a threat to go indy. If that's the case, then if I were him I'd let them go, because John has shown that he is one of the best recruitors of new talent in the business.
There was 4 things that used to separate eleganza from the majority if not all of the other agencies. No.1 a great line up, No.2 pretty much all of his girls were very open minded, no.3 with the exception of greek there were no extra up charges for there great service, No.4 all of this at a very reasonable price. Now for the most part there is really nothing that separates them from the other agencies. They used to be my go to agency but now although i will still use them on occasion i will be giving other agencies a much longer look.

There is 2 sides when you are raising your donations, for a lady, (I can tell by experience...)
First, you will lose a lots of bargainer hunters, that's clear.

I have lived this :the quantity of "clients" decrease, not when I became Indy, but when I raised my donation.
I raised my donation because I was answering minimum than half day long to request (and longer), each day, 7 days a week. I wasn't able to meet all the gentlemen, that was too much, so, upper a bit has equilibrated it.
Second, those gentlemen who remains are generally the sweetest people with the best disposition towards the ladies. They don't have even an once of mysoginous attitude at all. I don't know why it is like that, but it is like that.
So, my point of view, if those ladies requier an upper donations, I think this is best for them, at the end, not only for the level of donation, but for the quality of life they are gaining doing so.
Maybe it is the last consideration for a lots of people, the quality of life, but for some, it is.

The thing I have learned from experience is that the good agency girls are never available. You can try to prebook but they tell you to wait until the schedule is out, and then as soon as the schedule is out you cant get through until its too late. For someone like me that spends 3 hours minimum with SPs, I never get to see the popular ones until they go Indy.
With regards to Summer/Keli, I doubt I would have been able to book them but at $240/hr I won't even try. Better to spend that on an HDH where I am the first/only gentleman of the day, and I can prebook well before my plane touches down.

At 240$ instead of 200$, he can lose 17% of the consumers on these girls with the same gain.
If I read this thread, he will lose more than 50% of them, but more probably 25% of them.
Moreover :
1/ He will lose the support of his opinion leader on merb
2/ He's going to damage his brand image (which was one of the best in his market)
Conclusion : if this increase is not a way to keep these 2girls, then it's a very bad decision (believe me John, it's my job to analyse these kind of situation). I could easily understand this decision about Summer who just work 1 or 2days per week and just for the summer (then you should call her VIP and bet on the quality + rarity), but not for Keli who works a lot..
PS : MA, did you cancel or maintain your appointment with Summer ?

I saw Summer for an hour on Friday and two hours on Saturday (review forthcoming), and we talked about her upcoming price increase. I gathered it was her desire to do it, as she's incredibly in demand and books solid as soon as her schedule goes up. While my opinion probably won't be popular in these parts, I say more power to her. Her beauty, personality and skills in bed are so far above the rest of the escorts out there, she deserves to be paid more than others. Great lawyers get paid more than good ones, great restaurants charge more than good ones, why should escorts be any different?
