I decided I did not possess the manuel dextarity to shave down there and I would just wash really good from now on.

I use different models for shaving my head and beard/mustache, nose, ears and personal groomer. The Norelcos are very good and so are the Remingtons.

The personal groomer has an attachment that has settings 1-9. The lower settings give the closest shave. You have to be careful if you are shaving areas that are not regularly shaved as you could end up with a rash or scrapes. If shaving the scrotum and you use a low setting you have to be very careful but if you go slowly and are not reckless with your strokes, you should not cut yourself.

You are correct that it is not dangerous to shave the scrotum and you are also correct that the ladies appreciate it especially if you are expecting BLS, as you obviously are.

One thing to keep in mind is never take the attachment off and attempt a closer shave than the 1 setting on the personal groomer. The goal in shaving the scrotum is not a clean shave like your head and beard, but stubble. If you can shave the scrotum to where it is about less than 1/4" stubble, then your mission is accomplished.

The only time I ever cut my scrotum is when I got aggressive and took the attachment off the groomer, or got too aggressive with my strokes with the attachment on at the lowest setting. What you need to do is shave very gently, using gentle strokes, and pull the scrotum tight with your free hand so that there are no nooks and crannies that the groomer can catch on and cut. You can manipulate the scotal skin into a flat surface with your free hand by pulling it up towards you. I can almost guarantee that hungry101 cut himself due to poor shaving technique. Just like poor plate discipline will result in a batter striking out in baseball, so will poor shaving technique cause you to cut your cock and scrotum.

The ass should be easy to shave, except the ass crack area where the same rules apply.

Note of clarification: I still shave. I was talkng about shaving under and behind the scrotum and around the ass crack. when i cut myself I couldn't see where to put the band aid. I either need to stand over a mirror or go get waxed.

My groomer has an attachment specially designed for the under-scrotum and it fluctuates with the contours of the skin. It is difficult to shave this area, but what you do is pinch the top of the underside of the scrotal sack and pull it up towards you, stretching out and flattening the skin. You can then run the groomer attachment over the area and it will flow with the contours of the skin if you have the right attachment. You need to invest in a good groomer with proper attachments.

Plain double blade throw-away razor does the trick just fine, you guys act like sissies! LOL!!

Seriously, that's what I use. I found out it's more risky to get cuts when using a brand new razor. Just be extremely gentle, without pushing down on the razor too much, just slight pressure and never after a bath or a shower, the skin is too soft then, it's guaranteed cuts. That does the trick for me. No rash, no razor burn, or so rarely.

It's a good idea to do this grooming stuff a couple of days in advance. That way any scrapes or nicks have a chance to heal. I'm not paranoid, but any lesion, however small, is not a good idea when hobbying.

Walmart Canada has a Philips Body Groomer TT 2030/36 in their catalogue at $59.96. I believe Norelco is Philips. It looks very similar to the Norelco model.
