It doesn't matter. Personally I won't be discriminatory if someone has an accent but is respectfulI read the post. Like I said I’m act and sound western, just curious if it makes a difference.

Discrimination hurts SP too.I'm not the receiving part. Our advices will be worth not much lol
It's really up to the SP and her decision.
It was not necessarily generating arguments but more like sharing someone who explicitly explained the rationale behind her blanket ban and something some/most people wondered about.I watched the video and I think she is full of shit, and perpetrating racist stereotypes. I genuinely feel bad for her because I experienced all the things she is talking about, but not "only with brown men"
We all have a different client base depending on where we live, which area of the city, what platforms we advertise on, what our body type and look is.. When I started, I had similar conditions that she is describing in the video. I was new, I had no idea what I was doing, I had low rates and didn't know how to set boundaries properly. I attracted all the behaviors she named in the video, EXCEPT it was from men of ALL races. And honestly, it happened more with white and east asian men, because they were more entitled and privileged. It has to do with starting in the industry in certain conditions, not having clients of a specific race and ethnic background.
I agree with Michelle and everything else she said. I have not personally noticed a correlation between ethnicity or race and bad behavior. If anything, men who are heavily discriminated against tend to be more afraid of doing something wrong in my experience.
I honestly don't understand the point of generating arguments that are always the same and negative feelings in users. This is what I would call "stirring the pot".. Can we leave these discussions behind once and for all? There was no point in posting this here. The thread on X was already full of debates, there was no point in bringing it here.
I don't see it that way. When you begin as a sex worker, often, you will have bad experiences. Some of the worst clients seej new girls to take advantage of them. No matter what their ethnicity or race is. If I say I had a lot of bad experiences with East Asian clients I'm sure you won't be happy hearing that but it's the truth. It's just not a social group that deals with as much stigma. Same thing with white men.It was not necessarily generating arguments but more like sharing someone who explicitly explained the rationale behind her blanket ban and something some/most people wondered about.
Everyone has a wildly different context. In her case, maybe the client base where she works is majority from those ethnic groups, which shaped her decision for her own safety and boundaries. Location, advertising platforms, rates, experience level, and body type all heavily influence who shows up.She was quite explicit in laying out her restrictions and rationale. I think it's courageous (or at least straightforward) to explain it openly instead of leaving it vague, which brings us back to the initial intent: clarifying her own choice (it may not be the same for everyone, and something that could easily receive a lot of backlash from either side of the fence — but even more so from the concerned clientele).
I do agree this kind of sharing can stir the pot and generate the same recycled debates. At the same time, I take it as part of educating ourselves on different realities and contexts that exist in the industry. ohenry's questions and suggestions seem valid in that sense — he appears to understand the situation and is trying to find practical ways to make things work despite the challenges.
It was not shared by him initially I think it was a Toronto or Canadian news outlet but the post has been taken down.I opened that link and understood exactly everything I needed to know from here:

Hard ignore.
Yes that's what she highlighted at the end that now that she has different price structure and screening she might consider to revise her restrictions. Which should lead to your last point of attracting people treating you better.I don't see it that way. When you begin as a sex worker, often, you will have bad experiences. When you develop more boundaries, no matter what background, people treat you better.
It has nothing to do with the person's race or ethnicity thoYes that's what she highlighted at the end that now that she has different price structure and screening she might consider to revise her restrictions. Which should lead to your last point of attracting people treating you better.
As someone of South Asian descent, I can't agree with you more. Some of the behaviour from recent immigrants has been disgusting, and when most of the experiences people have are negative, folks naturally stereotype and as they say, stereotypes exist for a reason. The sad reality is that mass immigration at this scale and speed, and from very different cultures, creates friction and resentment that ends up affecting all of us brown folk.I used to get upset about this stuff as a half indian brown guy but honestly in recent years ive seen this behavior much more frequently from my community, especially newly arrived people.
Even my sister (not an SP) complains about similar behavior from them in a civilian context so the discrimination right now is an expected blowback. Sucks but it is what it is.
All we can do is be respectful and dont cause problems as individuals and hopefully that counteracts the negative perception somewhat.
Complaining about it on this forum wont change much.
Yes Trudeau opened the floodgates for anyone and the worst of the worst came to Canada. The Indians coming are the one from the villages. The educated well behaved ones are not coming. Go to India and you can see how advanced and westernized they are then you see the ones coming to Canada and it is hard to believe. This is an issue with Canada. Other countries it is a whole other issue. These new arrivals are giving the Indians already here who are westernized a very bad reputation. I seen the groups going to Cleopatra, groups of them and you can see from the way they dress, keep their hair and swagg these are the types escorts blacklist. As someone of South Asian descent, I can't agree with you more. Like you said not much we can do except be respectful, stay on our best behaviour, I suppose lol.
