So it's official folks we are all sick

As with gaming addiction disorder that was added in June or prior gambling addiction, both of which no substance is consume, sexual addiction is now recognized by WHO as a mental health condition.

Being an atheist and pragmatic person I particularly like this quote:

"It allows us to better articulate who has a problem and who doesn't, and it takes it out of the hands of the client or the culture or the church and puts it squarely on the science"

As long as you're not hurting anyone, having a strong libido is a good thing and a sign of health.

There's compulsive overeating and there's compulsive undereating. If I notice that somebody can't stop eating, that doesn't mean I'm against food. If I notice that somebody's anorexic, that doesn't mean I'm against being thin.

Humans have plenty of strong impulses and these don't always lead to good.

Unfortunately that is true. Our whole system is set up to allow treatments for assorted mental disorders whose creation was due to a host of mental health professionals needing justification to bill for their treatments. I am heavily involved as an erstwhile “mechanic” in this system who tries to sort out the fake from the real and advise insurers and others accordingly.

I don’t believe sexual and food addictions are real or actual disorders. I don’t believe in gambling addiction. I have alcoholics in my family but I never became an alcoholic. At the end of the day I believe in freedom of choice and accountability for one’s own behaviors.

I have it in my ability and power to control how much I have sex. Deep down I know this and so do all of you. When it’s NOT controlled, it’s weakness- not addiction.

This isn’t really different than the need for lots of arrests and imprisonment to feed the prison industrial complex.

A tremendous number of college graduates finish with soft majors, particularly psychology and social work.

The more people who can be convinced they have a mental condition, the more people who can be steered toward therapy and the more the insurance companies can be billed.

When they take matters out of the hands of the church and into science, you just get a different group of shysters.

It's a lot different. There is more rigid work done by an organization like WHO then all different religion of the world who bring so much hate. Religion that were all invented by men to discriminate against women and treat them like second class piece of shit.

Marital therapy and counseling has in many cases become a very important if not chief vocation of many clergymen. One of my clients, whom I actually really like and think is a good man, is a Christian minister with graduate degrees in divinity and counseling. Much of his time is spent mediating marital problems of his parishioners, and I would guess that those issues include infidelity, adultery, and perhaps in some cases, sexual addiction or purported sexual addiction. To go along with the routine marital conflicts that arise. This is what the parishioners get in return for their Sunday donations.

This also reminds me I have to call him tomorrow. The dude is a good source of potential business. Clergyman clients are a hard on for anyone who wants to make rain.

WHO is a European political fluff organization, not a bunch of real doctors practicing real medicine.

At some point real doctors need to put their practice behind to helps others. If not that's all they would do. Practicing the same stuff forgetting their main goal is to try to avoid practicing by having the population in better health condition. So they teach and they lead medical association. Yes there is a lot of politics and money driving these association awry at times but down the road we are far better off with them then without. I have been in this business for 20 years now. You will not convince me with some article found on google.

You are right it is possible to be with only one woman and be totally happy if you are in love.
There is such a thing as someone created especially for you.
