I am no lawyer but we can look to the US who were successful to bust almost all agencies. Maybe some American members here can confirm this?
Let’s be honest, American laws are generally stricter than Canadian ones, particularly when it comes to issues like prostitution. In provinces like Quebec, authorities often turn a blind eye unless criminal elements such as underage involvement or pimping are present. As long as agencies pay their taxes and operate within certain lines, enforcement is minimal. Corruption and selective enforcement seem to be part of the system. Realistically, Quebec has become the capital of prostitution in Canada. Just as the government has commercialized and regulated gambling and cannabis for revenue, mark my words it's only a matter of time before prostitution is fully legislated for financial gain. Quebec already has an overwhelming number of gambling establishments more than any other province I’ve seen. It’s baffling how the government supports gambling, given its devastating social impact: economic hardship, addiction, depression, and even suicide. But at the end of the day, it’s all about money in this province. I understand many won’t agree with me, and that’s fine freedom of speech is one of the few things that still makes Canada truly great.
Politicians have been trying to shut down massage parlours and strip clubs for years, but the truth is Montreal's sex industry is woven so tightly with the main tourist establishment it will never cease to exist.Global drag queen RuPaul once said in an interview with HOUR magazine in 2005 "Montreal to Americans is sex city.It's such a sensual place." Even Family Guy has an episode where they visit Montreal's famed "touchy feely" strip clubs.If that's not an endorsement, I don't know what is.There is even a scene making a reference to "shots on goal".....makes you wonder if Seth Macfarland has visited one of our finer establishments. My point being......I think the only time the LE will raid and shut down a place is when there are minors being exploited.Some places have been operating for years with no interference from LE. Just my two cents.....

I'm personally not worried about the reliable agencies getting targeted. They appear to do business discretely and safely.
If one of the agencies does get involved with trafficking, minors, or drugs i can see them getting taken down hard to make an example.
However, I sincerely doubt LEO would target the clients who are not directly involved with the drugs/ minors.

Not agencies but they had operations in Longueuil and caught a few people. Mayor of Montreal will change and the PM of Quebec we never know. It’s not likely but it’s doable

Despite your argumentative stance, i believe we agree in spirit. Calculated risk taking is the name of this game. If risk tolerance is zero, then their is no way to play "safely".
My observations of the agencies and doing business with them is the basis of my post. It is a calculated guess. Of course nobody is omniscient and anything can happen.
I laugh a little at the minor issue. To date, I have never met an escort that was even borderline close to being underage. The advertised 20yo that is closer to 30yo is usually the scenario I see.
All this being said, I plan to continue as before.

I believe neighbor complaints have forced several to relocate. Not sure if LE got involved or just the “condo board” for breaking the House Rules. Guessing it’s just the Board.
They only need to prove you communicated with the intention of doing so. The law is broad.

There would be hundreds of men involved - if not more - depending how far back they'd decide to go.
