I have had many SP's visit my house and have had no problems (knock on wood). Of course I am single. I can't imagine having a SP come to my home when the wife is out of town. If nothing else there would be too much evidence like long hairs of a different color on the bed sheets, etc. Perhaps some married men want to get caught or just getting sloppy? I don't know.....

I personally prefer they visit me since it's more intimate and I avoid rush hour traffic.

I've never seen an escort in a hotel. Always at my home, and that makes for 23 visits so far. There have been no thefts as a result, and I have seen no track marks. The girls are there to do their work and have a good time, and then the car comes and they go.

I'm talking about mid-level agencies mentioned here and on other boards: Asservissante, Fantasme (four years ago), Satin Dreamz, Eleganza, Thetis, Exxclusive (six years ago). Don't bring street girls home -- you'd be a fool.

But I do plan to use a motel soon. Even without a doorman and with my apartment near the building's entrance, I run a risk of my neighbors catching me. So far it hasn't happened, but someone just has to come down the stairs at the wrong time. That strikes me as a possibility, whereas I've never seen any sign of a girl wanting to try snatch and grab. I don't really see what the big deal is with having your neighbors see girls coming over your house. If you are an old man, maybe. But if you are a younger guy, if they DON'T see girls they will assume that you are gay. I have had people make these assumptions about me, specifically that at my age and income level I should have a woman, and since I don't therefore I must be gay. In some selective cases, the right woman visiting you is not a bad thing. If you have 10 different girls over in 3 weeks, well, that's a different story.

I agree with EagerBeaver, I'm in my early 30's live in a very nice part of the city and always have the girls come to my place - actually don't even think twice about it. I've been "hobbying" since I was 18 and have never had any problems what so ever, I think it is a great advantage to not have go out and get a room (don't have to worry about having a few drinks, finding a decent room, etc...). As for my neighbors, one morning I actually ran into the married gentleman who lives across the hall from me in the garage, and he complimented me on the beautiful girl he ran into in the hallway coming into my place the night before.

I've just finished reading this thread and I realize that the answer depends on a complex array of factors like: your marital status (if you are married or not, with or without a girlfriend) the kind of place where you live (modest apartment, luxury condo, house), your income, etc.

For me the answer is clear: I prefer to meet an escort in a motel room.

I would like to propose an analogy: When you want to see a movie, there's nothing like going to a theater, isn't it? Of course you can go to a video store and (a couple of weeks later) rent the same movie and watch it in your home. Functionnaly speaking the result is the same: at the end you see the same goddam movie!
But, may I surmise, there is a subjective difference in the way you experienced the movie. When you go to a movie theater there is the ritual of dressing up, buying a ticket, waiting in line, sitting in a huge chair and for the gluttonous ones the pleasure of eating buttery popcorn...All these things add to the experience of seeing a movie.

Seeing an escort in a motel room is the same thing. There's the pleasure of renting a room, discover this room, to smell the scent of the room, calling an escort, waiting for her, peeping through the window of your room and seeing other people (customers/escorts) going in and out, taking a shower and washing yourself with these silly soaps, etc.

This is the same difference like ordering pizza and eating it in your own kitchen or going to a restaurant and eating it there.

Well, it's like this. I live in a small apartment building and we know each others' business. The girls arrive and then leave after an hour or so. Interesting, especially when it's in the middle of the night. And even more so if a big van is waiting for them. And then more so again if the girls are not dressed like the girls in my building, who are middle class students and not given to high heels, slit skirts, bustiers . . . Some of the escorts put on quite a show with their clothes, and it's clear what the show is. That stands out, and my neighbors would take note.
