I would quit the hobby if the prices were mostly all in the $300 range. I won't go over $250, in fact. And even $250 is a rarity (only three times thus far). The reality is that there are superstars at $200 and at $220 right now, so I see no point in contributing/encouraging the inflation. The other fact is that there are mediocre providers at higher (and based on what some have reported, much higher) price points. Based upon my experience, there is only a small correlation between price and the appearance and/or service of the SP.
As others have also mentioned, ultimately the prices will be determined by what the market will bear. If Jalimon is correct about 2018 being slow, we may already be witnessing the effects of the increase from $200 to $220 that the major agencies made last year.
I believe that an agency could, in the current environment, capitalise by lowering the price back to $200, at least temporarily.

Honestly it is in fact the opposite , there is an increase of buisness from 2017-2018 . And i am obviously NOT talking about my appointments. But i can say for a fact that it is busier now than last year . And there is a specific reason i know that , which some of you might know. But ill keep it a secret for those who do not .
The increase of prices are because of the infatuation everywhere else. Cost of gas , housing , food , etc is all more expensive so i guess at one point it was meant to happen . I have done these in many European countries. A few times in the states. Toronto and Vancouver and.... Got to say your are 100% correct here

Remember: You are an independent contractor and you should charge the highest price that the market will pay for your services. If you charge too much the market will tell you. If I pay 300$/hour in Montreal than I expect a better class of service and girl.
The career of an SP is short (Look at Patrons curves on SP age vs hourly rate) and you need to make your money while you can.
One more thing: Pay yourself first.
Jali - I love you man but this is not the cheapest place. The FKK's are cheaper, Brazil is cheaper, Tijuana is cheaper, Spain, Argentina, Thailand....Their just harder to get to. I do like the Value in Montreal. I walk away pleased from almost every encounter (or they walk away and I am pleased).

Germany cheaper for same quality are you sure? Did not get that. And definitely did not get cheaper with same quality in Spain. But for Mexico, Argentina or Thailand cannot argue as I have never been.
