There was a thread that now disappeared.
How does one find out if that's indeed the case and why it disappeared?

Dont want to discuss anything that's against the rule thus asking generically.

There are dozens upon dozens of reasons why a thread might be removed. Best to contact a mod if you are the owner of a thread that has been deleted.
