Here is something else. They aren’t lying about their age much in my experience. No reason to. You have already seen their private pics and know what they look like. The legal young ones don’t have reason to lie. That being said there was a couple 17 year olds that said they were 18 and I found them out through Facebook.

I think a better strategy is to use the age filter and pick a minimum age of 24 or 25 and up. There aren't many 16 year old girls who can pass themselves off as looking that age. But a 16 year old girl can easily look 18. The penalty for making a mistake is having your life ruined, as happened to Wilson...and Epstein (who probably knew the ages of the girls in most cases).

They don’t have fake Facebooks. They use fake names on SA and have real pics in their private area which are the same ones on their Facebook. That’s how you know it’s her. Virtually every girl I ever met on SA I was automatically friended on Facebook and ID’d her. The pics on SA= pics on Facebook. Otherwise how would you know it’s her?

Apart from age verification Facebook is more important for character verification. You will have a better idea of what you are signed up for after reading a girls Facebook and seeing who her friends are and what she says about herself and them. I then go to the Instagram because usually there are better and more pics in the Instagrams. But there is better character info on the Facebook profile.

One other thing .......every single girl on Facebook 18-22 has pics of her high school graduation, her graduation info and/or her college or info on her college if she is going to college. Can these details be made up? Yeah.......but if she says she graduated from Staples High in 2018 and there is a pic of her, the girl in the SA pics, in a Staples High cheerleading uniform and it was posted in 2017, it’s not fake. And they are all like that. Come on guys. This stuff is basic. By the way I agree that these girls are not good candidates for long term arrangements for reasons already stated and 22-25 is the ideal age range. Those are the girls just out of college and struggling to start careers and more ideal for long term. I don’t disagree on that and am seeing someone who is 25 but also have seen others. I would never ask for a photo ID to prove age because it’s the most faked item any underage person has. Facebook profiles are infinitely more reliable.

I hear that liquor stores and bars no longer card people because there are so many fraudulent IDs. Instead, they do an image search and find the FB account of the person in question and they look for photos of a cap and gown.

This is a silly debate. Almost any FB profile has more than enough personal information about a person to draw a conclusion on their age, information that is superior in quality to a random ID check. If there is not an outright birthdate you can use the FB profile to age them in other ways. Once you are friended to the FB account you can also search the Instagram accounts and other social media to draw conclusions from that information. You also have the name of the person and the name of the person is usually also enough to determine their age if not exact birthdate through a basic internet search. You don't get to their FB account through an image search, you are invited there by a friend request FB sends automatically once their cellphone number is saved in your phone. I have been through this drill for 5 years now on SA and 90% of the time it's how it unfolds once you get a phone number except on the occasions when someone is using a burner or shared phone.

To argue that a person at a bar doing an ID search has an advantage over a person who already has a match to real pics, a real name and a FB and/or Instagram account is a comedy show. Neither is 100% foolproof but the point is that SA already put you in a superior position and advantage informationally to anyone seeing an escort and asking for an ID, because

(1) you have seen the girl's real pics on SA,
(2) you have gotten her phone number;
(3) her phone number in your phone has prompted an invitation to her Facebook, and
(4) once you have her Facebook you can access all her social media for even more info and these are 10 minute searches.
(5) The girl will have her birthdate or age in her Facebook and most of them do not have fake Facebooks. They have fake names on SA but once they give you their phone number the other information follows with it more or less automatically. I think some of them do not understand how Facebook works on privacy or else they don't think about it or care.

I will take the extent and quality of the above information over a random ID check any day of the week and so would any reasonable person. With a random ID check, you sink or swim with how good ID is. It is always better to have MORE information and not less. I don't understand why anyone would seriously debate this point.

This is the only "seeking" thread I could find on MERB.

It’s unusual for a girl to provide a cellphone # on SA without first messaging, and your concerns are valid. It’s more likely that she is a pro than LE, but I would have the same concerns as you.

That being said, there are lots of NSA/FWB girls on there who will give out their cell# after messaging you. Most are very discreet and will not talk about what they are open to unless they meet you in person, which is a prudent policy for both parties to follow. Be very careful about what you text a girl. Save transactional discussion for when you meet in person.

My guess is that:
- some are not sure, or not there too seriously, just testing the waters, and get distracted
- some start multiple conversations, then only follow the most interesting lead (but may come back to you at a later time) I must plead guilty to the same type of behaviour sometimes...
- don't forget that (at least in Montreal) you're dealing with young women who may have a lot going in their life, probably a subset with more chaotic lives than the average, and you may not be priority #1!
