SA is like a Country Club. Country Clubs like members who have paid. My guess is you are newer to SA. I am a 7 year member on and off and have paid them a lot of money. You, being a young newbie, have less invested and therefore don't warrant a bigger discount to upgrade. That's my guess.
Also, I recently had a paid membership expire. I had shut off the auto renew but the membership auto-renewed. I then contacted customer service and they credited back to me the $99.00 auto renew lock in fee. So it could be 33% for recent paid members whose membership expired, 25% for all other common plebes. Regardless, they do run these specials usually on Valentine's Day and certain other holidays. You might see another one like this Memorial Day weekend.

Are you guys in Montreal paying for the initial ‘Meet & Greet’? These days, it seems more ladies are asking to be paid for that.

It really depends on the city & competition. The ‘Meet & Greet’ can be just a 15 minute coffee to see if things should go further. I was just in Barcelona & Madrid and many hotties didn’t charge for the ‘Meet & Greet’. Whereas in Sydney, even the non-hotties want to charge $200 for a ‘Meet & Greet’. More interested in the current Montreal situation.
