Since you brought this up: when I first enrolled in Seeking Arrangement and didn't understand how to hide and filter (in about 2013/2014) I was bombarded with messages from women in the Philippines. It seemed pretty clear to me that their ultimate objective was to become a mail order bride so they could come to the USA. I didn't view this as "human trafficking", and since there is a lot of this type of thing going on, it's shallow thinking to sweep it all under that label. To me it's "self trafficking".I wouldn't call this human trafficking as the men went to Asia and met someone who was looking for a sugar daddy. So Seeking Arrangements is also human trafficking?
One of the messages I got was from a very attractive Philippines woman. I decided to exchange messages with her to see where it went. I told her very bluntly that I was looking for an in person arrangement and I didn't understand how that was going to happen when she was in the Philippines and I was in the USA. So she offered to do a live camera show with me, for $200, saying the "internet brings people together." I think her ultimate goal was for me to see her show, get horned up and buy her plane tickets to the USA. I probably should have paid for her show- she described some things she would do and it sounded hot- but I declined, and said I was looking for something in person.
I am fairly sure most of the Asian women who messaged me on SA and on other sites were looking for ways to come to the USA- if necessary by means of a mail order marriage. In those cultures the value is in social and economic security and it's merely a means towards that end. Also, at that time I think the economic situation in Philippines was rather dire for young women. Although I value the opinions of the SPs on this board on many topics, they are spoiled living in Canada relatively speaking, and don't live in the same circumstances as many of these women in Asian and African countries, not to mention the Middle East. To be fair, all of us are spoiled living in the relative security and prosperity of North America.
