Why: Posting unproven shilling accusations.

Accusing somebody of shilling in public only serves to scare legit new members away from posting reviews. When somebody suspect a post to be a shill, all that is needed is to PM the moderators and leave us take care of it. Moderators don`t act on suppositions, we need facts. In cases where we can`t do anything, the members are intelligent enough to gauge the validity of the post, without other members giving their "expert" opinion.

Why: This person registered a handle for the only purpose of accusing another member, of course without any proof whatsoever. We do not need that type of member here.

EDIT: After an explanation by email from Jack, the suspension is reduced to 3 days, making Jack`s earliest return on Saturday around 10:40, as long as one other condition imposed is met. Warning was made to the fact unfounded accusations or insinuations are not tolerated on MERB.

EDIT #2: The condition was still not met, 2 days after the revised 3 days suspension was completed so, the permanent ban is reinstated. Jack is suspected to be in fact a Jackie...

Reason: Using a proxy server to post on MERB to deliberately hide 'her' tracks. Using a proxy to post on MERB is forbidden and grounds for instant and permanent suspension. There is every reason to believe that this poster is not who they pretend to be. Also it is against MERB rules to refuse PMs from Moderators. If we cannot contact you to discuss a problem the only alternative we have is to ban you.
