Dying doesn't scare me, it's to be really sick, and to be disabled for the rest of my life, and to be deprived of everything I loved.

the odds of that are really low too...dont feel like doing more math...i'm just saying 1 encounter represents a very low risk... what is higher risk is multiple encounters by multiple people. If everybody 'goes for it', then the odds that the virus spreads is high. I've often wondered how many 'paid for' sex acts there are a day in this city (must be a few thousand)...

That also applies for example to an MP provider who has multiple clients (low estimate)a day and works 2 to 4 days a week. You stay with that 1 provider and its the same thing.

Yes I am afraid of catching it more for fear of giving it to my elderly relative that I am taking care of and no I don’t have a death wish either. I would still like to see my children and grandchildren for quite some time and some gorgeous women as well.

Here is what I am maybe even more afraid of.
Let‘s say I isolate like I did last time for 4 months and only go out for a daily one hour walk and have all groceries and medication delivered.
I do however now need to keep doctors appointments, for myself and my relative, plus now I do all my own grocery shopping get haircuts dentist etc... you cannot stop these things indefinitely otherwise you will die of something else.

What happens if I get the virus anyway from all these activities.
I have started seeing escorts but now I keep it to one only, I don’t think I want to give that up.
I don’t want to give up seeing my children and my grandchildren either for another 6-12 months and based on their activities even though they are careful as they possibly can be but kids have to go to school and parents need to work, I am probably more likely to catch it from them.

Then if I look at it another way when my wife got cancer her chances of survival were less than 2 percent and she didn’t make it.
Mine are way better hell even my elderly relatives chances are way better.

Legault prolongs red-zone restrictions until Nov. 23, extends hybrid learning to Grade 9 students

After hinting for weeks that public health restrictions in COVID-19 red zones might continue past the end of October, Quebec Premier François Legault has announced they will be prolonged into November, and even expanded — with Grade 9 students joining their older peers who have been learning from home every other day.

The seven-day average of new daily cases in the province was at more than 1,000 for much of October.

Legault said cases are spread through "society as a whole," but he also struck a positive note, pointing to long-term care homes, where the number of cases is 85 per cent lower than what it was in the first wave.

"During the first 28 days, we were able to stabilize. We think it will take another 28 days to see a reduction," Legault said.

^COVID Cases are trending higher.
With the Winter and Flu season coming, Cases will be higher.
I know, not new statements.....

***COVID, WILL WE EVER CONTROL IT***

The Prime Minister did not seen very optimistic today when asked about Christmas, I think that the Red Zone restrictions are going to extend into the new year(IMO).
That's 100% what will happen, lockdown well into next year... if anything, there will be more restrictions coming, not less.

It's the same as beginning of the year. "Everybody stay home for 2 weeks to get this under control." - "Ok, we'll extend by another two weeks." - "Another month." - "Alright, last month of lockdown now." - Then eventually some restrictions finally got lifted over the summer. The same shit will happen now.

These politicians got no idea what to do besides locking ppl down. First time in history they punish the healthy with the sick. This is an example of a nanny state. Too much over protection while destroying everything else. Imagine the only place to shop for clothes and accesories being either Wal-Mart or Amazones. Anyhow I think this will go well into March 2021. Fact is these politicians are still getting their over inflated checks and living their life as they want until their wallets are affected nothing will change. Lockdowns do not work this second lockdown is proof of it so why destroy everything else in a futile attempt to control the virus? They should know better to close all borders to China.

Look behind you.
^^^^ Quebec had the strictest rules in Canada, most were locked down and big fines for not following. Montreal has a very dense population, the cause of their large amount of cases, give Montreal the popation of Saskatoon and you would have seen way lower numbers and give Saskatoon the popation of Montreal and they would have been the hot spot.

Now they are the strictest, but Quebec was first to open up. They also did less in terms of reducing contact amongst students....the list goes on. We are, by far, the most "fly by the seat of our pants". They are fastest to lock up again because they know they have the most fragile health care system. They have 2x the deaths with half the population of Ontario. Density is part of it, but behavior is a bigger part of it. Look at a cafe in Paris. Look at a cafe in Munich. You will see why France has a bigger problem than Germany. It's all discipline and behavior. Quebecers are just less disciplined (in general). You don't need to look far, watch how we drive :) Why are there only 2 cities in NA that don't allow right turns on red lights ? We'd kill all the pedestrians.

that reads like what's been said about usa. x number of global population yet y number of global cases.

one thing that's changed and remain changed, the agencies aren't getting much beyond local customers, except if the exec @ costcos and UPS partook on mongering activities while they got to cross the border and a quarantine exception.

but with the cases what they've become, w/o even regular border crosser activity contributing, wonder if the border closure did any good when the active cases are more than before when they were closed.

Look behind you.
Restrictions in Quebec will most likely not be lifted until April.

Agencies will be allowed to stay open as long as the healthcare system is not overwhelmed.

Still trying to see your logic...
These lockdowns will do very little long term, once opened up again 6 weeks later the government will shutdown due to rising " cases " not deaths. The cycle will not end and every small business will be bankrupt, still like the Swedish model, will not have the same long term disaster Quebec ( Canada ) faces. $365 billion spent so far by Trudeau with no pisitive results as cases still rise.

Actually if you guys really want to look at statistics then Quebec‘s record is worse than the US.
Quebec’s death rate per million of population is somewhere around 734 people while the US is 710.

I don’t see the venom or hate being attributed to Legault or Aruda as it is to Trump.
Perhaps if they had Orange hair, that must be it.

point was simply Quebec has the worst outcomes in Canada.

I meant with your agencies should be able to stay open comment. If there is a shutdown and pubs, restaurants and boutiques close why would a place where people fuck and suck multiple customers be allowed to stay open? Sorry it too blunt but had no other wording.

^^^^^ Pretty sure Legault is not allowing agencies to stay open in a lockdown and that is your opinion.

then what is he doing exactly?
We can’t eat at a restaurant but you can eat at an agency... so enlighten me/us...

Wish I could draw a picture buy I can not, my last attempt. Your quote " Restrictions in Quebec will most likely not be lifted until April. Agencies will be allowed to stay open as long as the healthcare system is not overwhelmed " . Restrictions NOT lifted....... Agencies will be allowed to stay open...... The restrictions are no foreign visitors.
Can I have someone over to my house?
The short answer is no. Quebecers who lived in designated red zones are prohibited from inviting others to their homes.

There are a few exceptions, however. The government says informal caregivers, individuals offering support or labour for planned work are permitted.

People who live alone are also allowed to welcome one other individual into their residences.

If you do not understand now, go ask a friend to explain.
