Yes and no, and if any legal experts on this forum would like to correct me, be my guest : maybe I’m wrong but my understanding, you see, is that data, if accessible in Canada with a computer that happens to be logged into the database that is, say, in Cocos island, well that data is considered data “in Canada” and not in Cocos, even if the data is physically in Cocos.

So, hypothetically, if Big Brother ever gets interested in going after the Mods or owners of this forum, they just need to get their hands on one of their computers, legally of course, and access the data through there, and then, well you can imagine the rest….

So when you say, Valentina, that you speak from behind the scenes, I say we do too, after all, we are all “the scene” together, and maybe your view is skewed because you only see it from your side?

For most votes, I believe people vote on the basis of their best experience amongst the ones they had the opportunity to meet. That’s it. Only members from more than a year can vote, and a friendly reminder from an SP to vote is no bias… it’s just like any dental assistant reminding you that you have a dentist appointment.

I mean Mr Profiteroles isn’t “Ipsos”, he’s doing this for fun on this forum. And for fun, those members who wish to participate, chose a queen of the year. All SPs, in previous years who got to the top, definitely owned it, I don’t see why it would be any different this year.

Not skewed at all.
It serves as a reminder that sometimes, what you see is not what you get. That’s all.

It’s tradition on merb, but it’s not 100% legit (especially this year IMO). For reasons stated in previous posts.

I wasn't directing anything at you specifically at all. Had I been I would have quoted you. It was just a general comment. Contrary to what you seem to think I'm not running a vendetta against you. I told you that before, and told you that I would never ask you to STFU, and you blew me off. I have absolutely nothing against you and my last comment wasn't a response to anything you said specifically. I'm not sure why you find that so hard to believe or why you think I have some personal animus against you. I don't.

I clearly stated that it was going nowhere and I ended up doxxing myself at one point to change the subject / finish off on a light note haha!

But… Alright. I’ll take your word for it. Just know that it can be hard at times to decipher comments through text - especially when people counter*attack* instead of counter argue / debate respectfully. I don’t need to agree with someone and I can still like them. But some people started acting smart and I don’t like that - so Val, she got all loud and eyetalian.
