Once again you're saying your usual nonsense & didn't watch the game. Fisher's was already playing with a damaged knee last night & he simply re-injured it on a fluke play (i don't even think anyone hit him). As for Alfredsson's hit, it was a legal shoulder hit by Bell....the refs agreed on this, the replays showed it was, and there will not be any suspension nor did the Senators ask the league to review the play. It was no different than Stevens' hit on Lindros several years ago, among other devastating hits of his. The league and its GMs want those shoulder hits to the head.....every year at the GM meetings it's back on the agenda, but nothing is done about it. The problem isn't the hits themselves, but the equipment (shoulder & elbow pads) that the players are playing with today. They're like cement.
You should watch a hockey game one of these days, JC....you might actually like it!
