Respect for all Met fans who gotta believe
Here you go. Yankee fans are leaving the Fenway. It was that 19 inning game. An intoxicated Red Sox fan guzzling on his beer gets into a verbal altercation with the Yankee fans. Guess what? The Red Sox fan ends up doing? And guess how the classy Yankee fan reacts.
I can see some of you acting this way at Fenway.
Let's go to the video as Warner Wolf would say:

How about them Mets ?
Perfect record at home :thumb:

How about Tanaka with the 2-1 win over Detroit?
Is Detroit a AAA team with 1 bona fide major leaguer. I don't think so!
Yankees took 3 out 4 from the second hottest team in baseball and face the hottest tomorrow thru the weekend.
at 1:02 she's sitting with full beer in left hand when shmucky knocks beer out of Finally's hand;
before clock even hits 1:04 she stands up, has the PRESENCE OF MIND to switch beer to right hand for cleaner shot and completely empties cup in face to the rousing approval of everyone, even the brunette with shmucky cant contain her smile as she walks away best of all the slapstick defuses the situation, protecting her friend Finally who was certainly put in a tough spot, and the tension gone
I bet Smuler and Popedover wish the season was just 20 games long.
Well, the Yankees and the Red Sox are tied in first place. But do you really think that the 2 teams are really equal?
I remember someone, somewhere saying that the Run Differential factors in a good predictor on how a team fares in its record.
The Red Sox have a Run differential of +3.
The Yankees have a Run differential of +20 (make it +22 since Teixeira just hit a 2 run homer against the Mets, but the game is only in the first inning).
The Red Sox score .1875 more runs per game than their opponents. At this pace, the Red Sox at the end of the season will score around +30 more than their opponents.
The Yankees have scored on average 1.25 more runs than their opponents. At this pace the Yankees at the end of the season will score around +200 more runs than their opponents.
Odds are if the season continues to go as it has been going in these first 2 1/2 weeks, the Yankees will definitely win more games than the Red Sox.

BOYZZZ!
YOU need a haircut and shave pal. Thank God pics don't smell. BTW - isn't trying to goad someone who can't respond a suspension offense.
It's going to be an up and down season for the Red Sox, mostly because of their unreliable starting pitchers. This is exactly what I had been expecting given the recent records of those like Buchholz, Masteron, Miley, and Porcello needs work too. They give up way too many runs and their defense has some big holes. I see them lucky to finish 3rd. I just don't have a lot of faith in teams built like this. Last night they came through depending on big hits. However, tough pitching has already shut down that a couple of times. As I've said, it's roller coaster time.
Still, I wish they would find more ways to have Holt and Bogearts in the lineup at the same time. Both have been performing pretty well and I don't see why it's necessary to shut down one or the other.

BALTIMORE — Brock Holt was the shortstop for the Red Sox on Friday night against the Orioles, his second start there in four games.
Manager John Farrell was careful to say before the game that he was using Holt simply to get a lefthanded bat in the lineup and hadn’t lost any faith in Xander Bogaerts.
Whether it’s at shortstop, right field, or somewhere else, Holt is changing the discussion about how often he should be playing. His three-run homer in the eighth inning gave the Sox a 7-5 victory at Camden Yards.
On a night when David Ortiz and Hanley Ramirez hit back-to-back homers, a 180-pound utility infielder delivered the biggest shot for the Sox.
“I love that guy,” Ortiz said.
Cheers,
Merlot
Yes a suspension is warranted, telling someone that they need a haircut and a shave and insinuating that they smell is a big time suspension in my books.:nono:
