Boyzzzz!

My oh my what a difference a week makes eh? The Bronx Bombers are on fire, the "light hitting" red socks slumping. Detroit is the best team in baseball and the Mets are not far off. Ahhhhhhhhhh gotta love this time of year!

We are on fire... But fate twisted it's cruel hand as we had some injuries during the win

Sucks being a Met fan sometimes

Best regards

In typical cowardly fashion I see you're in mid-season form with your usual infamous MO where you can't help yourself but take shots at a poster who's unable to respond to you. Ahhhh. Classic DD41! Hahahaha.

Who is that, K? Who can't respond? I have no idea

First off DD. This didn't occur at the lovely Fenway Park, this occurred at the House that Ruth didn't build! In this video you can clearly see a typical asshole Yankee fan berating a female and telling her to "go back to Boston, we don't want you here," (such a classy guy isn't he? LOL) said asshole Yankee fan then approaches the female's male companion, cowers when Boston fan with greatest shirt in history gets in his face, waits for Boston guy to take his seat then takes a swipe at his beer in his lap and knocks it out of his hand and gets exactly what he deserves!! Are you that f'n blind in your hatred of Boston to see that this Yankee fan was completely classless and entirely to blame for the altercation. Doesn't surprise me though that when confronted after starting the altercation, the Yankee fan then cowers behind his GF and buzzed up the stairs before Boston boy laid a beating on him! Hahahaha. You have to do better than that DD, you're disappointing me.

You completely understand and see exactly what everyone else sees Anon but DD41 is his blind hatred for Boston isn't able to grasp any reality and blames the episode on the "class of an average Red Sox fan" Hahaha!! So clueless!

Well, K, we don't know when or how this altercation started. All we see in the beginning is 2 women yelling at each other. Then the male gets up and starts to say something to her. On the video, the Red Sox fan is the one who starts to yell, but who knows who said what to whom first.

You are correct it was at Yankee stadium and you are correct the Yankee fan did push the Red Sox male guy's beer after the Red Sox guy got into his face and then the woman's beer throw, the highlight of the youtube came next. But did you see what came after that?

A NY Yankee fan in the Jeter uniform took charge in ushering the Yankee fan away from the scene. I personally could not hear what either party was saying. I think the Get out Red Sox fan came from the direction of whomever was filming the altercation.

After further review, lggy's is correct, both are low class, but who knows how that started. I forget what website I got that video, but it definitely highlighted the beer throw.

Well, I still think Kansas City will finish on top of the AL Central. But good pitching and great defense won today's game in Tampa Bay. It is going to be a long season, so all relax and enjoy.

Yanks and Detroit starting tomorrow night in Pitcher Friendly Comerica Park, go easy on us will ya, hungry?

As a Yankees fan I am torn between 2 things in beantown and that is which is most fun to watch in fenway.

1. Seeing Hanley Ramirez "try" to play left field and fail miserably

2. Seeing Rick "ACE" Porcello pretend he will ever be a #1 worth $20 plus mil per season.

LOL Iggy. You are a wise man and not just a table setter (although you are pretty good at that too).

The Tiger series will be a big test for the Yanks.

BTW- Notice how cool it is in here lately without all of that hot air being blown around by those delusional Red Sox fans, could it be that reality has finally set in, the realization that the team is not very good(especially with that god awful pitching).

Iggy is flashing some leather. Too many Yankees Outfielders flashing leather too. Vmart robbed twice in Comerica National park. How many stradiums would those me off the wall or out of? Probably all of them. And yet the baseball reference guide says that Comerica National Park plays neutral.

Baltimore Broadcaster, Former Pitcher Jim Palmer Not a Fan of David Ortiz

When David Ortiz got tossed from Sunday's Sox/Orioles game at Fenway Park, one onlooker was particularly miffed with Ortiz's behavior. And it wasn't just any onlooker -- it was Orioles Hall of Fame pitcher and current TV broadcaster Jim Palmer.

Palmer, who did not work the weekend series for Orioles TV network MASN, expressed his feelings in regard to Ortiz's actions on Twitter.

The tweet prompted ESPN Boston's Gordon Edes to email Palmer, and the legendary right hander responded with some strong opinions on Ortiz,

"Who needs a home plate umpire when David's at the plate?" Palmer wondered in his email to Edes. “He's always complaining about close pitches. What I found objectionable was that the Red Sox are playing an important series -- game tied, fifth inning -- and his actions get him tossed."

Palmer, who won 268 games in a 19-year career spent entirely with the Orioles, doubled down on his Ortiz commentary on Twitter Monday morning prior to the 11:05 first pitch of the final game of the Sox and O's four-game set.

No reaction from Ortiz yet, but the Sox and Orioles will meet again Friday in the first of a three-game series at Camden Yards.

CC Sabathia pitched a strong game tonight giving up 2 runs in 8 innings. Alfredo Simon pitched a little better game giving up 1 run in 7 1/3 innings. Therefore, the Yankees lost 2 to 1, but the Yankees surely were competitive. Their defense and pitching has been outstanding. Their offensive has not been shabby. They will remain competitive throughout the season, I bet.

Iggy - I thought you said Betances was struggling? There were a few bad tiger swings out there.

The Yankees continue to roll and play good baseball. They took a tough loss from yesterday, came back and downed the red hot league's best record holder Detroit Tigers 5-2. Good pitching and good defense plus some clutch hitting gave New York the win. Nate Eovaldi pitched a strong 7 innings allowing 1 run and scattering 8 hits. Don't let anyone tell you that the Yankees are a push over this season, not even those who claim to have memorized every stat that fanographs has compiled.

I also said he would find his way back to form and it certainly looks like he is. Impressive win tonight and if Eovoldi and CC pitch all season like they have in each of their last starts then the Yanks go from a good team to a potentially, GREAT team this season, of course barring major injuries.

Add me to the club of people who are so sick of David Ortiz. He thinks he's above the game & how dare umpires call him out on strikes? I can't wait for this fat fuck primadona to retire!

p.s. Once again, the Yankees are playing better than people expected. I'm not that surprised since i've always praised Joe Girardi's managing abilities. He's saved Brian Cashman's bacon season after season.

While I agree about Girardi, he did make a move that cost us one game this season already, leaving in CC too long against Detroit instead of going to that vaunted bullpen. I was telling Joe after 7 innings of great pitching by CC, "why are they leaving him in for another inning, I know he is a horse and in his younger days, gets stronger as the game goes on but i do not get a good feeling about this" and bam! Detroit got to him. There was a reason Cashman put together that bullpen over the winter and it was for games like that in the cold and rain against a top hitting team seeing CC for the 3rd or 4th time in the game. I believe the 'pen was well rested but could be wrong on that. Anyways Joe G does much more good than bad.

Should be an exciting season for Mets fans.

Not even a tenth into the season and K's already @#$%ing right. Nice They're making the rest of the NL East look pretty bad. Then again, since the 06 Mets, the only team from the east to make it past the division series was Philly in 08 thru 10 and they look all done now. Atlanta's thrown 8 walks already today through 5; it just seems like the Mets are getting the worst of everybody ever since opening day when Desmond must have been doing doobies with Molly Jones before he got to Nats Park where Mets are owned by Scherzer but beat him anyway. It's all been falling their way.... but they've been making play after play no doubt!!!

Finally the first non-division game Friday, against a team from the best division, ha!! and all future series against the Cards/Dodgers/Giants and even others like Cabs and Pods will be great tests and looked forward to with great interest.... oh, is that what K meant by exciting?

Respect for all Met fans who gotta believe.
