Are you there for the Pacquiao/Mayweather fight???

If so, i read today that ticket prices have went down considerably and you can even get some for below par value.

I'll watch it on ppv tomorrow....can't wait!!!

I heard that the ppv tickets are kind of high. $100 if you watch at home or $10 to $15 at a local pub.

Mike Tyson is pulling for Paq man with Tyson's Mayweather is a little man statement. This is going to be a put up or shut up fight for Floyd Mayweather. Hopefully, the fight will live up to its advertising.

Arod's tying HR with Willie Mays gives the Yankees the 3-2 win over the light hitting and heavy ERA pitching Boston Red Sox.

But you have to marvel at Delin Betances and Andrew Miller. Combined they have pitched 27.2 innings, both have an ERA of 0.00, have struck out 45 (Betances 23, Miller 22). Miller has given up 3 hits and Betances, 6.It seems like all the Yankees need is a run lead going into the 8th and they will get the win.

Yep, the Mets are the Amazings this year again. 16-8 and in first place leading second place Atlanta by 4 1/2 games.

Another amazing team this year is Houston. The Astros are 16-7 and leading the second place LA Angels by 5 games.

Congrats to Arod, it could not have come against a more deserving team to get #660 and a game winning shot to boot. :thumb:

Eovaldi vs. Guy Smiley in todays matchup. Before all is said and done this season, i have a feeling that rouge hose fans will feel the same about smiley as cookie monster does lol

True. But it's the first great fight in a long time, and maybe it's last for a while. Plus, i've won so much money betting on hockey this season that i've saved up enough to pay for the ppv. :D

Only one word describes Betances today versus the hosers, DEVASTATING!

so freaking

Eovaldi pitched well also. 6 2/3 innings, 2 ER. The last ER was a walk that he given up and the next pitcher gave up a double. Betances was strong in his 1 1/3 inning Save performance. Clutch 2 run hit by Gardner was the difference in the Yankees win over the Red Sox today.

Agreed, Eovaldi pitched like an ace, gee i wonder if he will get a $80 million dollar contract like porcello? LOL...... if cHerington was the GM of the Yanks he would throw Nathan E. 100mil for four years as he is better than ricky p will ever be.

My revised prediction:

The Red Sox will finish the season in last place in the East. They can't finish any better than that with a crappy manager like John Farrell managing a crappy overrated team like that!

Their best player is Brock Holt & there isn't anything much after him.

Hanley Ramirez is having a good start. I don't think he will be able to keep up his pace. He averages 20 HR a year and his high HR year is 33 with Florida in 2008. Perhaps, he will get 30? Boston's pitching is their weak spot. Like JoeT has said, they are dead last in ERA. The number of games that can be won is far less when their pitching gives up an average of 5 a game. But I agree Boston looks like a good candidate for last place in the AL East.

How Sweep it is :D

Yes, how sweep it is. Andy Warren was pitching a great game until he had gone wild in the 6th inning. Up 8-0 after Gardner's 3 run HR, Warren look in command. But was that hbp to Hanley Ramirez on purpose? Ramirez clearly was ready to start a fight. I don't know the history between Ramirez with the Red Sox and the Yankees. This is Ramirez/s first season with Boston, no? Warren ended up with 4 ER but was pitching a shutout until that point. Mujica's pitch to Ellsbury definitely was a retaliation pitch. It surely gets wild when these 2 teams face each other.

But the Yankees are hitting and have great relief pitching. Yes, a great sweep of an arch rival. The Yankees are 3 games on top of the AL East and they look strong. It should be an interesting season for the Yankees. A very resource and scrappy team.

Okay, Yankees fans.....sweeping any team feels good. Especially the Red Sox. But remember that your team swept THE BOSTON RED SOX. The team i predicted would land in the basement. Lousy pitching staff, average hitting team....and the worse manager in baseball.

So don't get too carried away. Winning is fun, but beating a crappy team like the Red Sox isn't that great of an achievement.

Anytime we sweep them is pure enjoyment, as good as great sex!

Red Sox fans have become so quiet following this weekend's series that it almost sounds like i can hear crickets in here. ;)

As for the Jays, things are not looking very good right now. The hitting has been very good, but the starting pitching has been extremely disappointing so far. The Jays have sent back a couple of their prized rookies to the minors. They've also sent back outfielder Dalton Pompey back to the minors. On the bright side, Kevin Pillar has been a revelation and Devin Travis has been exceptional. That's the kid they got from Detroit for Anthony Gose.

Tonight they welcome the Yankees. It should be an interesting series.

Congratulations to the Red Sox for moving up in the team ERA standings, they now have the second worst team ERA in the AL, they also have a losing record at home, a losing record on the road which means a losing record overall(duh), this team is a disaster, the question now is how much longer will Farrell last?, will he make it to the all star break, I say no.
