The population is aging all across the board, not just in Quebec yet provinces like Ontario are fairing much better. More centralization is not the answer, such things should be left to the experts, the hospitals and doctors. As for the problem with family doctors, it is not that there are a low number, the issue is many are going to private healthcare or fleeing to the USA where they are paid much better with less bureaucracy. Listen to what the doctors are telling you, in response the government tries to whip them harder. They also plan to force those that graduate from medical school to be forced to work a few years in the public system.
