Look behind you.
jalimon: If they are not nice with a superstar like you can you simply imagine how horrible they can with other girl! Thats exactly what i am fed up of defending on Merb

Just read all the Amanda posts and the only negative I saw was the ones about enhanced lips, even though they are not. That is not a negative but someones opinion. Never met Jalimon, guessing he is a nice person but he gets too defensive to females and escorts, not all people have the same tastes, something that needs to be accepted.
I like to see some negatives ( if they are true ), writing a positive review and saying somewhere that a certain thing was not your liking is still a positive review.

Amandaxo: Ahahahahaha ![/I][/COLOR]:p well for me its not that much the person its more my ... physical and mental state
Amandaxo: But yeah for sure some clients are not nice so im inclined to not givw them as much a good service

Really....If any guy is not so nice to any of you. They’re idiots. Guys. It’s a privilege to be with these ladies. Amanda being on the top of that list with a few others! Be nice. Polite. Fun. It goes a longer way than being a brad pitt look alike. We joke that I am a celebrity lookalike. But it’s because of posters like Jalimon that I learnt it dosen’t mean much.

I think some men get way way way too involved with this hobby and lose sight of what it really is, then end up taking things personally. No lady should be bashed on without very good reason. This we can all agree on. However when we start viewing a business transaction as a privilige and get presonally vested into it, then its probably best to take a step back for awhile. I wish you the best jailmon.

It almost seems as if when you get overly invested in the whole community/world of SP's, criticism starts to affect you personally. It's like you're living in another world. I wonder what would happen if Jalimon stopped paying for sex for a long chunk of time. It might be good for the mind. It's not good to lose sight of what's what.

Finally I think we have all felt that way at some point when we feel someone on this board is fucking with you unfairly.
That's when you should remember Humgry 101 comments to develope a thicker skin and not let it bother you, he was kind enough to tell me the same thing once.

I have to practice what I preach. Last year I wrote what I thought to be a pretty good review of the FKKs which included interviews with several SPs that were no longer providing DFK for a 30 minute date for 50 Euro$. One of the board members on ISG said something along the lines "maybe not for your newbie ass." I didn't write back and get into it with him. Later someone said "HungryStud101 has been around longer than you or I. He just doesn't post that often..." I never responded to the criticism. One poster nominated my FKK reports for the ISG reports of distinction category. Turn the clock go forward and I post again in that same forum. Right away I get a helpful & thoughtful answer to my questions from last years rude asshole. Imagine that? Furthermore, the guy that pissed Jalimon off has provided more help to me than of anyone else on this board or any other over the past 10 years. I have got a lot of tips from a lot of people. That is what a board is for. I don't want to know what this hobby would be like without some of you guys.

A little break from time to time is good for the soul.

Jal is going to let this thread run for another month till he replies.
Then on April 1 he will post in screaming caps APRIL FOOLS Folks.

For the first few minutes after reading the op I took this thread to heart.
But now, lets put thinks in perspective. School shootings. Korea, Iran, Syria, Yemen, Congo, South Sudan, Myanmar, terrorists plotting in major world cities, thousands starved daily. The market may tank again any day. Russia and China are sabre rattling .

Is it morally right to focus so much time and energy on a thread like this one.

The only good things happening these days is that I`ve gotten some incredible mind warping blow jobs in the past week.

Damn I wish there was a tongue in cheek emojie.

STN, it wasn’t anything said about Amanda it was the Jenny thread

I understood that but pointed out that Jalimon was also upset that someone posted something negative about Amanda.
Read the Amanda quote I had.

That's what I was thinking too. This thread has a Tony-like quality about it, and I feel like Jalimon may have been studying some of Tony's threads where he punked the entire MERB community, and was trying to modernize and match the unique style of the man with 5,000 handles.

Honestly, the post does not make much sense to me. Who posts a bad review on an indy SP in order to spite a client? It makes no sense. The more likely approach, if vindictiveness was the true motive, would be to simply badmouth Jalimon to the girl, trash-talk him and throw him under the bus. Good old fashioned vindictiveness. I don't get the "new vindictiveness" in which bad reviews get thrown around to stymie the credibility of a MERB member. Even assuming all of this is true, which I doubt, it's not a valid reason to "leave" and would only serve to feed the trolls and provide them with a well-savored victory, thereby encouraging further trolling activity.

You live too much in the past man. You always bring back old merb stories, almost like to remind us you are here since the beginning. We get it man, your registaration date is showing ;)

Jalimon's situation have nothing to do with your story there.

HM,
It is human nature for us older guys to be nostalgic and bring up the past.
You will get there eventually, if you are lucky.
You don't need to be a genius to be young, but you need to do a lot of things right to grow old.

I hope Julia is right and Jalimon will be back soon.

Funny that you should mention this but I think nostalgia led to my post, because I was wondering recently what happened to Tony and his multi handle stunts, which have not been seen in a while. We haven't seen good prank threads on MERB in many years, and Tony had some rare genius for pulling them off.

I did think Jalimon's original post was possibly a joke, whether Tony-inspired or not. It did not make any sense to me otherwise. If true, it simply was a totally invalid and illogical reason for a departure.

Snap. Someone should get the Beav a golf shirt with "Official Merb Historian" embroidered on the left breast.

What really cracks me up are his occasional references to the "Golden Age of Hobbying." (I keep checking on Amazon to see the publication date of "The Golden Age of Hobbying by J. Eager Beaver, but it never seems to appear. I keep wondering if it's going to beat the Merb Expose that's been promised since 2005.) There's a line from a song by Loudon Wainwright III, "The good old days are good and gone. That's why they're good, because they're gone."

FYI, the golden age of hobbying as near as I can tell is right now.

Rumples,

You are as nostalgic as anyone I know, especially when it comes to baseball. But the Golden Age did exist and one reason it was Golden was the exchange rate during that era which fueled the industry in many ways. None of this can be denied. It’s like trying to argue that the late 1970s wasn’t the Golden Age of disco. And the other night while shopping at Trader Joe’s a steady stream of disco hits was being piped in. The music lives on well past its Golden Age.

I believe the late 1970s was the only age of disco. While were at it, the 1970s were the golden age of leisure suits.

EagerBeaver,
For a minute there when you said Jalimon's post had a Tony-like quality, I thought you were referencing the Tony awards on Broadway.

You know........Jalimon Best Supporting Actor in a Drama.

I'm just having a little fun with this thread.

This is kind of like saying 60% of the people under age 21 don’t know who Jim Morrison is.....or to “Rumpleize” the analogy, 90% of baseball fans under age 22 don’t know who Pee Wee Reese is.

Sambuca, yeah I toyed when I said that the late 1970s was the Golden Age of disco. It was in fact the only age of original disco music. There are some cover bands around, like Escort which performed at the JazzFest around 5 years ago.
