There was and there are escorts offering to cook for you if you book them for a dinner date. In that case, paying extra for the food would make sense since they’ll have to buy things specifically for your dinner.

I can't imagine agreeing to a date where I am the one paying. That just sounds like a senario I'm turning down... your entertainment and food is not comeing out of my fee... I don't even eat out from what I get. It is barely enough to survive on as it is. It is for my rent, bills, and own daily life needs. Luxuries are something I am not close to being able to afford yet. Be damned I'm paying for your (his) luxuries out of what I get.
If there is parking to pay I won't even make the visit unless he is paying the parking. (I try to find free street parking, but it isn't always available.)
