That is a lie circulated by the Russian government and Fox News. If you watch the actual video, Joe Biden was bragging that he threatened to withhold US aid to Ukraine unless the President of Ukraine fired its corrupt top prosecutor Viktor Shokin. Shokin was fired within six hours of the threat, and Biden bragged about it. Firing Shokin was an official goal of both the US Obama administration and of the European Union. Biden made the threat on their behalves. This is not corruption because it was not for personal gain, but was to help our national policies. Shokin was not actively investigating Burisma at that time, and in fact had been criticized for not having investigated that firm more thoroughly.
Neither the Republican controlled US Senate, nor the Trump administration officially sought to investigate Hunter Biden until July 2019, when Trump tried to extort an investigation announcement from Ukrainian President Zelensky during that "perfect phone call". Some real topics like climate change, Trump, Big Oil, impeachment, Trump, Obama, Trump, you name it. And of course some "meta" subjects as well, like common sense and logic, Internet bullying, being a coward and a snitch, things like that. Should we perhaps try to come up with an agenda for this historic "St Lawrence Day" (as it would be problematic to have an "Elbe Day" again)? Maybe a simple "Trump must be impeached" will do for starters.

First, I am not someone who likes arguments nor am I someone who makes a habit of insulting people.
I am probably one of the most polite people on this board as well as in real life, I am sure most of the ladies would agree with that.
I just get annoyed when someone runs to the Mods, they don’t need to be approached it is their job to read everything and act according to their beliefs or rules or whatever.
There is nothing wrong with disagreeing either as long as you are not trying to make out that your view is the only one that counts.
As far as politics and this whole fiasco, I think I have said that for me all politicians are scumbags, now I will agree with Jalimon that what I find so disheartening is how divided the US seems to be where we differ is I don’t get why they cannot get behind a President that was elected by the people, he won, accept it , you will all have your chance to vote him out this year.
I don’t think any of us are internet trolls, we all have a history of our posts here that can easily be retrieved.

If there is any beer session the last thing I would want to talk about is Trump or Climate Change or why Sol Tee Nutz paid Ricky Bonds money for intel on a lady. The only reason I would get together with any of you guys is to exchange intel on the ladies. Although I have met CB Brown aka Oliver Kloseoff and I would buy him a beer any time, just to hear some good street intel plus he can be somewhat funny without trying to be per se. Plus he is a solid source on “value” restaurants like Wok Cafe, although it’s disappointing to me that they do not use white meat chicken for their General Tso’s. Their food is a good value for sure, although when I am in Montreal it’s typically to spend money and not save it, even with restaurants. Did any of you guys ever get the Ontario Street tour with CBB? I got that tour from OK in around 2004. That tour may have changed since then.

Regarding meeting for beers if that ever happens it should only happen at a craft brewery. I only drink beer at craft breweries and I will have it be known, in case anyone is in the buying mood (such as Halloween Mike, LOL), I prefer Saisons. My guess is that the Americans or many of them would call me a pussy for drinking Saisons, but my most recent Saison I sampled was a 9.2% and I would call them pussies for drinking anything weaker. In case you don’t know what a Saison is or why I am mentioning it, it’s a style of beer originating in France and know for its high carbonation - as with wines the French like to carbonate their beer, and the Saison is a really wonderful fruity result. The plum saison I recently tried at Reverie in CT not only was the best tasting beer I ever had,
but it kicked my ass. Montreal is a French City last time I checked, or predominantly French, and I am figuring if their craft breweries can’t make as good a Saison as I had in CT, then what the hell good are they?
And technically Saisons may be an ale and not a beer but I consider all of them species of beer, despite their subcategories. Sort of like chimpanzees are apes, as are gorillas.

Yes, back to the matter at hand, good idea. There are reports in the news that Mitch McConnell apparently lacks the votes to end the burlesque show quickly and decisively. If true, that would probably mean the free entertainment will go on for months. Time to stock up on popcorn. Circus is not leaving the town any time soon.

Typical: You don't even know what the word "impeachment" means, you have no idea about even the basics of what has happened, you follow the party line of Fox News and Trumpie's tweets, and since you can't make any intelligent or factual points to support your ideas you resort to insults - EXACTLY like your corrupt hero does. I am not a Trump supporter, I think the man is an egotistical prick, but given a choice between him and Hilary, I would have voted for him.
Then again I am of the opinion that all politicians are scum.
However once someone wins the election it stands to reason that he should be given the support as he was the one chosen legally by the people to lead his country.
What annoys me is not disagreement or even an insult here or there, as a former pro athlete I have pretty much heard all the insults and locker room talk, it is not my way of communicating but it doesn’t bother me much.
Sarcasm is ok also it can be actually quite humorous.
What annoys me is when someone takes it upon himself that he is the one in the know and starts to talk down to people, and then stomps his feet and runs to the mods like a school kid to the teacher.
I have been around often in board rooms, meetings, with these so called intellectuals who have never had to sweat a day in their life to earn a living, most when faced with a real situation are busy looking for their safe room instead of being able to do anything.
Of course like you stated they know everything about everything from dissecting atoms to dog farts as long as all they have to do is talk about it.
