Giving corporate welfare to greedy corporations or cutting their taxes to low levels is business investment but helping students by lowering their tuition or helping the poor is giving away free stuff. Weird thinking. But the way the right-wing conservatives think is weird. Having said that many baby boomers are very out of touch with reality for millennials, the average family today has much less disposable income then the families of 40 years ago and what is more your money today does not buy you the same quality as it did 40 years ago. Most young families today are priced out of the housing market. It is only going to get worse with time. Prices of everything keeps on going up but salaries remain stagnant oh yess CEO and their executives salaries are growing even faster then the prices. Welcome to corporatism. There are countries that offer free tuitiion this is how it should be in Canada too. Students are the future. If they have access to education no matter how rich their parents were all can have equal opportunity to get high paying jobs. This is what I call Equity.
