Team World came back from being down 8-4 and Tiafoe came back from being steamrolled 6-1 first set. Great comebacks by both. Tiafoe has taken his game to another level. He is now a top 10 player beating other top 10 players.

He hasn't gotten past the quarterfinals of a Grand Slam except making the semifinals of the US Open in 2021. He did make 2 quarterfinals in 2022, Australia and Wimbledon. He is trending in the right direction, but he needs to make a few more semis and maybe make a final in 2023. This means beating guys like Alcaraz, Ruud, Medvedev, Nadal and Djokovic.
