I keep hearing about the next upset might be Brazil,from what i believe, Portugal man for man has a better team,so this will not be an upset if Brazil has a lose against Portugal,Kaka is out for game but then again he has done nothing just like he did nothing all year for Real Madrid in the Spanish league, unlike Portuguese player Christiano Ronaldo who had a super year for Real Madrid is in the line up for Portugal, in my view Dunga the coach for Brazil should not have kept Ronaldinho one of the greatest soccer players which is in his prime out of their squade for this year,i still am stund that this has happened,i believe their is no way Brazil has the team to win the world cup and Dunga coach from brazil will realize his mistakes and the media in brazil will hunt him inthe end.

Anything can happen with Brazil... but looks like I may have picked the wrong one this time.
I think should have bet on Argentina.

Speaking of tifosi there is a tifoso at my job and he works each two week-ends. I saw him before the WC - he came to the job proudly wearing his Italian jersey - and we had a discussion about the WC. As a proud tifoso he said to me : « Italy will win easily this group. Paraguay, Slovakia and New-Zealand...pffff! Do they even play soccer down there? »

I cannot wait to see him this coming weekend and tease him about his predictions. I will reply : Italy, do they even play soccer down there?

There is a difference between Domenech and Lippi. Now all the world knows that Raymond Domenech is an assh..le (he refused to shake the hands of the South African coach after his defeat).

Lippi is more realistic and humble. He declared to the national press in Italy : «Ho fallito, mi dispiace» (I faild, I am sorry).

I'm not sure that Lippi is the only person to blame. It's true that he made mistakes (for example: not having a firm and stable tactical formation, having old players like Canavarro on the field, etc.) but the players themselves came there with their big heads thinking that it was an easy group.
