The Decline in Same Day Bookings…

Please note I am not talking about all indy escorts...obviously. Lol. My question is what caused this decline? Is the quality of client better, if they’re willing to wait days for a meeting? Is it just because not doing same day booking allows one to better plan out their schedule. Is it because the offer isn’t big enough? Like a same day overnight will always be a yes, but a same day 2 hour will always be no? I know references and stuff can factor in, but I’m speaking more about if they’ve met the client once already.

I just realized Onlyfans and being involved in other sex work related venues that didn’t exist years ago might be part of the answer.

It might also have to do with shifting trends in the client base. hmmm.

I mean, I guess the answer is because anyone would prefer knowing when they’re going to work than not, but wtv. Lol. I love the sunshine.

Totally agree, I’m finding many flakes lately than before and even now it’s becoming more often last minute cancellations with agencies.

My life doesn't depend of a 2h booking

For many reason it's will be a no ...

Why because we might have others booking,
Family, bissness, no incall available, don't like last minute booking, engagement, so many reason.

Why just don't plan

Same day to me refers to 6-12 hours notice. Is 24 hours notice much better? I’m kind of wondering where the line is now. Lol. Of course, I realize everyone is different so any answer would be useless generalities. And ultimately, I understand being able to organize one’s schedule is more comfortable. Still, I like these sort of thought experiments…what moves the trends of the world? Is it the individual or group they belong to ?

I use to be all for planning days or a week in advance, but I don’t really like it as much m. There’s a sort…I can’t really say anymore without launching into personal stuff.

When I lived in Montreal booking with 24/48 hours notice was the norm. I did so because I enjoyed the build up and anticipation.

As someone who travelled to Montreal I like doing the one month advance planning. Well back then when I was active in the hobby the HDH market was very active.
This is when I go on that semen retention mode and really build things up. Well you know how that goes heh heh.

Did same day booking as well. It has its own appeal and exciting factor.

In other words I did them all.

6-12hrs is definitely reasonable for people who are available same day. 15 min is not lol

It's really different for everyone. Someone who is in school, has a civ job, has to drive 2hrs into Montreal for incalls, other things going on... all situations that can affect how much in advance someone might need to plan. We don't sit around just in case someone wants to come over right away. I'm good with 2-3hrs of notice depending on what I'm doing at the time. But yes, for many 24hrs or more is needed.

It really is different for everyone.

The only time I ever planned ahead, I actually cancelled because I just wasn't in the mood as the time approached.
Since then, I just never book ahead of time. I really don't control little heads appetite.... I just feed him when he's hungry.
If my 1st choice isn't available, the 2nd or 3rd or 4th will be.

Am I really the only one that has 0 interest in booking days in advance?

Booking it all depends on your condition. I mean if you are a local Montrealer there really isn’t much need to plan ahead unless you plan to include social time. As someone traveling to Montreal especially from the U.S. that may make sense because you have to hop on a plane or a long drive.

Not many people like to be at someone else's beck and call. Just being asked to come in to work on a day off irritates me. Even if I say no I'll be in a bad mood for a while.

If I ever asked an indy for a same day booking, I would phrase it very carefully, and I'd have a damn good reason. Unless they had an ad or schedule explicitly saying that they are available that day.

The only time a same day booking might happen is if I’m in Montreal and don’t have any plans. Or if I’m chilling at home and don’t have anything to do. It needs to be at the very least 3-4 hours ahead because I don’t live in Montreal and need to commute.

For a last minute booking, for instance the ambitious men sending you those “are you available in 1h?” I would have to physically be sitting in my incall and have nothing planned for it to happen. It almost never happens

I dont do last minute booking, never asked for it neither. But I do same day bookinv 90% of the time, I dont plan my escapades ahead. I'm sure if I do I would find myself not in the mood for it once D-day arrives. I am just too impulsive and unpredictable when it comes to sex. Why would I want to plan my sexlife? I have enough planning on my mind, no need to add more.

I do same day bookings but many of the inquiries want it in one hour or less and even if I do accept, most of the time they don't have the means to even get here (I need at least 2-3h if I'm available). More and more are also cancelling last minute and same day bookings with no regard to the impact this has on us, so I understand why less and less Indy's are offering it. Im even considering requiring a deposit for same days (which I normally don't) because of course most don't respect cancellation policies. Which really sucks because I appreciate all cash.

The decline in same-day bookings in the escort industry can be attributed to a variety of factors. One possible reason is that escorts may prefer to plan their schedules in advance to ensure they can accommodate all their clients and other personal commitments. By not accepting same-day bookings, escorts can better manage their time and avoid overbooking or feeling rushed.Additionally, waiting for a few days before meeting a client may allow escorts to vet potential clients more thoroughly. It gives them time to gather references, conduct background checks, or engage in communication to establish trust and ensure a safer encounter. This approach allows escorts to prioritize their safety and well-being.Furthermore, the type and duration of the appointment may influence an escort's decision. Longer appointments, such as overnight stays, may be more appealing as they offer a higher financial incentive and a more immersive experience. Shorter appointments might be less appealing due to the limited time frame and potential for rushed encounters. It's important to note that individual preferences and practices can vary among escorts, and there is no one-size-fits-all explanation for the decline in same-day bookings. Ultimately, the decision to accept or decline same-day appointments depends on the escort's personal preferences, safety considerations, and their ability to manage their schedule effectively.
