When did Mr. Ignarant ever try to sound sophisticated? It's been pure drivel and stupidity from the moment he polluted this thread. Unfortunately, the "ignore" button that merb used to have either no longer exists or is well hidden. There used to be a time when, with one click of the mouse, you could make a buffoon disappear. Sadly, no more.

One would think that with the Yankees up 3-2 in the ALCS, needing only one win at home in two chances, having their two reliable starters ready to pitch these games, that there would be confidence in the air in the Big Apple this morning, n'est pas? Then why is there panic all over the NY papers this day? Could it be they're still a little touchy five years after the biggest choke since the fall of Troy?

On the field because outside of CC the starting pitching still sucks and the bullpen that perpformed for a little while is showing its true level of talent...

Momentum is a funny thing in a short series, so is team unity...not superficial team unity, team unity built in team chemistry...and I don't care what anyone says, when you assemble the highest paid band of mercenaries in one place and expect them to play as a team, it never seems to work, too many egos in the way...;)

By the way, is that still crickets I am hearing...:rolleyes:
