Last quarter eh? Didnt know this was the NBA Playoff thread, but that reminds me, the Laker game the other night was pretty good, especially the third period.

As far as Price, if not for him tonight, the bruins would of never needed that extra inning ;)
I only caught the last quarter and the overtime.

As for Price I can't see how this could happen to a great goalie like him.

If it wasn't for Carey Price, the habs wouldn't even be in the playoffs. They'd be on the golf course with the Leafs.

If it wasn't for Price, the Bruins would have eliminated the habs tonight.

Don't blame Price because he's got no team playing in front of him. It's not Jacques Martin's fault either. He's done a masterful job considering the bunch of dummies he's stuck coaching. Blame Pierre Gauthier, the real culprit.

Blame Pierre Gauthier for trading local hero Jaroslav Halak, who singlehandly led the habs to the playoffs last season. Don't blame Carey Price for this.

Carey Price has become one of the top 3 goalies in the entire NHL. He'll be a candidate to win the Vezina, the Hart....and possibly the Conn Smythe if the habs keep on advancing.

Let's face it: the decision to trade Halak instead of Price turned out to be a very good one for the team & its future.

Cant say i blame him, but that might get him a one game suspension, goof ball

Personally, I thought this was hilarious!! I'll give Ference credit, he may not be the most skilled D-man on the team but the guy plays hard and is ALWAYS there to back up his teammates. The most he'll get is a fine, no way they will suspend him. I heard that the 911 lines in Montreal lit up like a Christmas tree though when it happened! Hahahahahahhahaha!!!

Doing this during a playoff game was both stupid & selfish. Yes, i did find it quite amusing when i saw the replay, but still.....what was he thinking?

My guess is that he'll get a fine & might not miss any games due to the importance of the games. But who knows.....

As expected, Ference received a $2500 fine. Well worth it in my opinion! Lol.

Fist off, I for one is not blaming Price since he's the one who's playing best on the team but... unless you live on another planet anyone knows that we need more than just an extremely good goalie for these playoffs.

And that's what we had last year with Halak. It's not so much of their abilities (of both Halak and Price) but the fact we didn't think Halak could perform that good against both Caps and Pens.

When a player and specially a goalie starts to play like he's from another planet, the rest of the team follows. And that's what we didn't see in the last minutes of yesterday. Some players were really going for it but others just sat on it thinking 'Bah ! Price is good enough'

Simply put : we don't need the best goalie of this year. We need a f*king miracle !
Not just to beat Bruins but to go all the way and this is what we don't have right now !

If they don't make it through 2nd round I will make a lot of $$$$ but it ain't gonna be on Price cuze he played extremely good.

Anyway we'll see... it ain't over until it is !

Merlot will be glad to know that no Porsche or Benz were burned in Mtrl last night ! :)

Hey JH Fan,

Howz ya doin. The easy going JH seems a little bit stressed. Send me your address and I will have the Pharmaprix deliver all the Alka Seltzer and valium you need...lol. Yes, to lose a 2 game lead at home is blowing it big time, especially after being up 3-1 in game 4. What happened to the Canadiens defense. When a game shifts from the Canadiens having a huge advantage in shots taken to the Bruins pulling even again, it's not Price who should be blamed. But it wasn't just the defense letting down, it was also the Bruins taking over.

Back at square one. Game 5 will probably determine the overall winner. I don't see the loser coming back to win two straight.

BTW...I doubt the thug element can tell the difference between a Porsche and a Ford.

Enjoy,

Merlot

If Habs win I'll enjoy seeing Bruins loose. But if Habs loose I'll cash in !
I guess there isn't much people who really understand that game :)
