Cosmo, when has Komi ever been a "point" man?????. never.... seems kinda funny he was beloved in Mtl for having the exact same types of points when he played here, typical habs fans.... are you gonna boo Price or Halak next season when they return with a new team also??? dont bother, i already know the answer..... too predictable

Komisarek.played.well.

These three words just don't match.Komi has 0 goals,4 assists and is MINUS 9, amongst the worst in the NHL.But I guess fans of this sorry franchise are so used to mediocrity, they accept this and the fact that ''they have been playing better since bla bla bla...''as acceptable.

Pathetic.....

He's -9 but he's really playing well as of late, especially when you watch a game through leaf colored lenses.

your Great franchise is a mere, mmmmmmmmm 4 points ahead of the leafs with a game in hand,.and the best part is, its dec 29th and still 40 games to go!!!!!!!!

mmmmmmmm, it's January 12 with 35 games to go, the Leafs have zero games in hand and trail Montreal by 9 points. What exactly was the best part again? Yeah, that's what I thought! :D

The way the Bruins are playing now, I don't feel confident that they would make it past any of the teams you mentioned. Now does that make me any less of fan because I don't stick up for my team or does it make me a realist with a tad bit of knowledge?

BTW, my comment was in no way fucktard, just something that every single person reading this thread knows and would agree with.

Lastly, if this is for SERIOUS hockey talk, how the hell do you make any points here with your head buried so far up your own ass? "Bwwaahahahahaha, hey look at me, I'm in kindergarten and using my parent's computer!!" EL Oh EL!!

Senators fire goalies coach

The Ottawa Senators have just fired goalies coach Eli Wilson. The Senators have been one of the worse teams in the league (as bad as the Leafs & Oilers) over the past month or so & a lot of the blame goes to the goalies, especially Pascal Leclair, who's been yanked in the past 2 games.

if Carey Price does not get signed or traded before the season ends, look for him to get the bidding war he will want, he will get 5 million per, for 4 yrs easily.. maybe 6 as theres a handfull of teams who seriously need to upgrade at goalie, Ottawa is one

I can think of another coach named Wilson who should be fired.

And, in fairness, Ottawa has indeed been doing badly but they have been crippled by injuries to their best players.

the injury excuse again eh? like your "other" team, its old.

The Sens are a borderline playoff team, with or without Alfie and Spezza.... their D is what will most likely keep them out of the playoffs should they fail to make it...

It's not an excuse, it's a fact. Besides, since you raised the issue, it's better to be a "borderline playoff team" than a no-hope 28th place team.

Yup!Neal Peart who I admire so much, who is so popular in Québec. He used to live in the Laurentiens.

I think they recorded at a studio near Morin Heights (I have a place nearby in Saint Sauveur and I overheard two guys on the chairlift talking about Rush) .

Tension brewing in Leafs dressing room

Loss to last-place Carolina has Toronto's players understandably frustrated, and running out of ways to accentuate the positive

With the Leafs now mired in a four-game losing streak and with only three wins in their past 14 games, the growing tension among the players was clearly evident yesterday at practice as they dealt with the media. Several probing questions drew either cold looks or indifferent answers.

I can think of another coach named Wilson who should be fired.

columnist Steve Simmons explores this issue further:

Olympics may be saving Wilson from the axe

TORONTO — The only time Brian Burke fired a coach in mid-season came when he called the first 45 games of the 1998-99 season “an unmitigated disaster.”

The coach was Mike Keenan. The team was the Vancouver Canucks. The disaster came from 15 wins in 45 games, and a divided team going nowhere.

Fast forward to today, as the Maple Leafs ready for their 48th game of this unmitigated disaster of a season.
