Today's trade rumors
Torres has at least three suitors
Raffi Torres will be traded in the next few days, and the Philadelphia Flyers may want him most -- but they may not have the assets to trade for him, the Columbus Dispatch reports.
The Jackets want at least a second-round pick for Torres, but the Flyers have neither a first- or second-round pick in this year's draft. So that might give the upper hand to the other suitors, the Boston Bruins and Pittsburgh Penguins.
The Bruins have the picks to make this deal, but they're also looking at several other options. The Pens could also get in on this, but they dealt their second-round pick to the Panthers for Jordan Leopold. Still, they are looking for someone to play alongside Evgeni Malkin so look for them to make at least one more move.
Will Dwayne Roloson be traded?
Several teams might be in on Dwayne Roloson, even if it costs them a first-rounder. But the Islanders might be more hesitant to deal Roloson now because Rick DiPietro's knee is acting up again, Newsday reports.
If DiPietro's knee continues to bother him through next season, Roloson would be here for one more year as a safety net. However, it might be hard for the Isles to turn down a first-round pick for a 40-year-old goalie.
The Flyers, who have been rumored to be interested, have said they're comfortable with Michael Leighton and Brian Boucher in goal, but the prognosis on Ray Emery's hip doesn't appear to be good. The Capitals have also hinted they're going after a goalie, and Roloson would be a potential target.
Hamhuis to Flyers in the works?
UPDATE: The Flyers and Predators are talking about Hamhuis, TSN's Darren Dreger tweets. Philadelphia wants a young defenseman -- probably Ryan Parent, Dreger writes.
UPDATE: The Predators acquired D Denis Grebeshkov from the Oilers in exchange for a 2010 second-round pick, NHL.com reports. Preds GM David Poile said he would acquire a d-man if Dan Hamhuis was dealt. So perhaps he already had a deal in the works, but made sure he got a blueliner before he pulled the trigger.

The Boston Bruins may no longer be interested in Dan Hamhuis, which might mean the New Jersey Devils are now the favorites to land the defenseman.
Preds GM David Poile said he wants to keep the blueliners, and Hamhuis told the Tennessean that he wants to stay with the Predators for the long haul. But money won't allow that, so there are reports that Hamhuis will be traded very soon.
The Devils, Buffalo Sabres and Pittsburgh Penguins might also be interested, but it will cost them a pretty penny. We heard the asking price for Hamhuis was a scorer and high-second or late-first round pick.
If Hamhuis is traded, look for the Preds to trade for another defenseman.
