Iggy & myself invite all habs fans for a drink between periods.......Go Leafs Go!

p.s. As a die-hard Leafs fan, of course i worry about my team every single day of the year. I'm not a bandwagon jumper.

Cairo doesn't need beer - as a Detroit fan all he needs is octopus.

Sorrow ? Cairo's team is what 2nd overall and the Habs 4th ? bah ! loosing one against TO would be : 'D'la tite biere' !!!
I can understand for you to get all excited if TO wins so in all good spirit I hope for your sake they do.

Maybe you should get une bonne maudite ben froide or better yet une fin du monde.
Dans ton cas ca devrait s'boire comme un rien ! :)

I think you don't need to be a die-hard one when you're a Leaf fan Doc.
It's just normal to worry every single day of the year for them.

I think it's even 'touching' how deep a relationship you guys have with ur team.

All the Leafs' fan base sounds like a bunch of dads to all those kids that screw up everything they try to accomplish.
I mean you should get a medal for this.

I admire the fact also that you keep to Hockey and don't fall into the bandwagon category like Igna who suddenly becomes a Yankee fan when the Leafs aren't good.

At least you, you stick to the Leafs no matter what !

So here's to you if the Leafs wins ! cheers !

Yes Detroit is 2nd overall but has 3 games in hand against 1st overall Washington, so the Wings are really on pace for first.

Toronto meanwhile is currently 25th, where I predicted they would finish the season if all goes well for them. No wonder lggy needs to drown his sorrows in suds!

I should never have bought into Peddie's proclamation that the "Leafs are on the right track" proclamation, if your prediction holds true "25th" I will have no choice but to come to you for my hockey picks joel.:)

As a Canadian citizen, I wouldn't mind seeing someone in a Leaf uniform being in a video such as the above in my lifetime. I would also like to stand on the surface of Mars.

Maybe you should stick to the moon first ! :)

Leafs win, Habs lose, Great night in the NHL!

Yes sir, I can understand your enthusiasm...especially with the rarity of those two things happening simultaneously. Anyone know how many times that has happened this season?

Have fun,

Jman

Actually i dont, nor do i care, but feel free to look it up if it makes ya feel good. The 2 teams dont always play the same night anyways. The habs are 8 points ahead of the Leafs and thats having played one more game. After the mess Burke was left with for the last several years, i am quite pleased with the way this team is looking this season, especially the last 5 games, and with Armstrong and Phaneuf due back soon, things will be fine. We are now officially the youngest team in the league and to be only 2 points out of a playoff spot after 20 games, with a very very young team, i think thats pretty good, what with 62 games to go.

As long as were talking about "tonight", The Monster is looking strong now that Giggy is out with a groin injury, he played very well again as he did sat against the habs, and could finally be taking over as the teams #1 goalie. Defense played another strong game as well.... meanwhile in Philly, pk subban was booed everytime he touched the puck which was expected, and the only offense that the habs could generate was from a unlikely source, in agitator maxime lapierre, and carey price had to be all world again as the habs inconsistent defense once again gave up over 40 shots,, 45 to be exact.

According to most habs fans, your little team should have 42 points after 21 games? (the Self Entitlement thing ya know) :)

"having fun"

GO LEAFS GO!

PS. 8 million per year man Scotty Gomez ZERO points and a minus 1, and after 21 games he has 6 points, and on pace for 24 for the season, is he not the luckiest paid nhl'er or what!?!??!?!
