The Leafs are soooo bad that every time I speak to anyone from Toronto, I get this introduction line:
I'm from Toronto, but really I'm not a Leafs fan Im a ...name any other 29 nhl teams ... fan :p
this is getting beyond pathetic...

Every time I speak to someone from Toronto, they LIE and say they're from somewhere...ANYWHERE...else!

Right now there are only four people in the world who admit to liking the leafs: Doc Holliday, his adoring fan lggy, Brian Burke, and Ron Wilson - and I think those LAST two are about to give up on the leafs also!

Looking at the way the Leafs are playing, I think that Wilson and Burke gave up on them a long time ago. Right now they're just going through the motions and waiting for next year. And golf season of course.

Oh wait a minute my mistake, that was Tiger Williams. I tend to get them confused because they look so much alike and because they both had similar lifetime stats with the Leafs. ;)

Orr hasn't challenged anyone since being destroyed by Matt Carkner back on December 14 (you remember way back when the Leafs were one of the NHL's top teams :D) so I guess challenging a teammate who can't fight should be seen as progress. :rolleyes:

Wilson blames media

Wilson also found an old rack on which to hang the team’s woes. The media. Evidently, we’re big meanies. He chastised a media scrum after practice Thursday, noting he never sees reporters talk to anyone about something positive.

Congrats to the leafs - before their overtime loss to Jersey, they were a miserable 2-7-1 in their last 10 games.

Due to their latest overtime loss, their record in their last 10 has "improved" (ha ha) to 2-6-2.

This sad sack bunch of rejects is just about the only team in sports that can IMPROVE its record by LOSING! What a bunch of zeroes!

Canucks win 5-3.

This loss was particularly enjoyable to watch seeing as they did have a 3-0 lead. The downfall was led by Philly the 5.5 kid who disappeared after 5 minutes of the first period obviously feeling quite content with his performance. :rolleyes: This most recent humiliation combined with Carolina's fourth win in a row drops the Leafs back to the 15th spot in the East where they belong.

6 down, 4 to go.

PS. Loved seeing Raycroft waving to the fans in the final minute, you just can't script something that good. :D
