When I started the hobby in 2013, agencies were charging $140 (???)
So a 90-95%’ish increase. While cost of living in CND since that time has increased by 30-35%’ish (would vary depending on your city). But nonetheless, the rates increases are not in line with inflation/cost of living.
From my perspective, it's not really the rates anymore that bother me, but the lack of roster depth and a booking process that makes it difficult to meet those you have had a good time with. It dissuades me from booking more and I actually spend less than I plan when in Montreal.
A real problem : a child starving because his parents cant afford to feed him.

While nobody likes price increases of any kind it is kind of understandable that escorts consider it a touchy subject when their livelihood is being talked about and kind of normal that they would want to defend it.
In the end it is up to us to either come up with the funds to pay to see the ladies we want or to take matters into your own hands so to speak.

What's funny reading this board is, this whole discussion line is about rates being too high, while simultaneously almost convincing providers who don't charge the same higher prices, that we really should be factoring in a more inflation targeted pricing. But allas even people at the $200 range get criticized for being too expencive while there is an insane number of people looking for a donation price of $100 or less.
Agree. Also the Montreal hobby structure has really changed all thanks to Covid. Now the hobby is more incall focused as I prefer the girl visiting my hotel. Rates are higher which makes sense due to inflation but given the exchange rate near the early 2000s it is still a bargain. Quality has decreased which is the major factor and also availability has become volatile and unpredictable.
