I am responding in the context of your previous post. We are talking about far-left extremists who are authoritarian and you claim that only the far-right are. I just proved you wrong. Those countries I gave you are Communist (far-left). The far-left's MO is to use manipulation, public shaming, and coercion. Moving on locally, you mention Liberal democracy, Trudeau is anything but a Liberal. By name the party is Liberal but in reality it is a Socialist party. Trudeau is a far-left extremist. He used the Emergency Act on peaceful trucker protesters who only wanted to be free from covid mandates, many of us wanted to be. He sabotaged democracy by seizing all their funds. Trudeau enforced vaccine requirements to travel even though many people were against it. Not very democratic. Trudeau has already hijacked democracy with Singh by forming a Socialist coup. Theoretically they can remain in power for the next 20 years.

Trudeau is following China's lead by implementing Bill C-11. In a nutshell the government will have the authority to control what is newsworthy and what can be posted on the internet. Youtube will be regulated, probably all sex work sites will be banned? Sounds familiar? Kind of like what goes on in China and North Korea. Here I provided a link on this subject.

Trudeau's gun ban is ridiculous. He goes after law abiding gun owners but goes easy on criminals. He removed mandatory sentencing. He eased border control. The reality is most of the gun violence happens from criminals that are smuggling illegal weapons from the US. Of course the left are not interested in practical solutions, only virtue signalling.

The Natives are against Trudeau's gun ban. It goes against treaty rights. Does this clown even know up north where it is so cold one of the ways to get food is to hunt? Read the bill by the way, it is not clear at all what is defined as an assault rifle or a hunting rifle. So far Trudeau has proved to be a liar since day one. I would not believe a word that comes out of his mouth.
Russia is not a Communist state. The others may or may not be, but that's less important to what they really are. They are all anti-democracy, authoritarian, and illiberal countries ruled by brutal dictators. In the US, we are one election away from losing our democracy to a minority of far-right republican extremists. Canada, under the leadership of JT, is still a democracy. While you personally disagree with seemingly all of JT's policies, Canadians as a whole can vote his party out of office if the majority of voters decide to do so. That's what democracy is all about. It's less a right vs left issue for me. It's about the people having the freedom to choose their government and being able to freely vote governments in and out of office. I realize our worldviews are very different, but I'd like to think we could agree on that.

Concerning Bill C-21, I completely agree with you, he's targeting law abiding citizens with a ban that will have very little effect on population safety.

Putin wants to bring back the USSR. The Soviet Union has always been a Communist far-left country. Right now it is authoritarian.
They are all anti-democracy, authoritarian, and illiberal countries ruled by brutal dictators.
With this I agree with you. Like I always said, it is not about left vs right, it is about the state vs the individual.

This is where you loose me. What democracy are you loosing in the US? As far as I know Americans have the choice to vote for the party of their choice, for some reason people still believe the left vs right nonsense. There are many third independent parties like the Libertarian party. America at least has two term limits, it is a safeguard from tyrants. As for Trudeau, I already told you he sabotaged democracy and I explained it why two months ago. Unlike the US, Canada has no term limits.

Trudeau formed a Socialist coup with Singh so both can remain in power indefinitely. Technically it is legal, but it is very sneaky and underhanded. The Liberals and the NDP have agreed to consult behind closed doors on many fronts and in many ways that actually goes against Parliamentary norms and procedures and is bad for Canada’s democracy. This is very bad for Parliament. This man has no ethics whatsoever, he will play dirty and drop to the lowliest scum on this planet to hold on to power. This is a very very bad man, believe me on this one. He is the worst I ever seen in Canada, he belongs in jail. He got away with fraud and treason.

Putin doesn't want to bring back a Soviet Union communist government, he's only interested in expanding his power through Russian imperialism and to be seen as a modern-day Peter the Great emperor.

Democracy in the US is being threatened by right- wing MAGA Republican extremists which are sadly the majority of the Republican party. Not only do they attempt to surpress the vote of people who are more likely to support Democrats, they want to nullify their vote by having state election officials throw out their votes and/or state legislators or governors refuse to certify a majority vote for a Democrat. Their refusal to accept the results of the 2020 presidential election is essentially the death of democracy. A democracy cannot exist when one of the two major political parties will only accept the results of elections that they win.

Term limits don't offer much protection against lawless authoritarian dictators who overturn those limits and rig elections as has been done in both Russia and China and other countries ruled by dictators.

Putin said he wanted to regain Russia's former power. It sure seems like he wants the USSR back.

Whichever way you look at it, extremist anything is bad. Just do not downplay left-wing extremists either because they are just as dangerous as right-wing extremists.

Trudeau is doing the same thing but in a sneaky underhanded way.

Here is more evidence of Trudeau sabotaging democracy. Trudeau knew of China's interference with the elections and he did nothing.

Direct Quote from Article " Canadian intelligence officials have warned Prime Minister Justin Trudeau that China has allegedly been targeting Canada with a vast campaign of foreign interference, which includes funding a clandestine network of at least 11 federal candidates running in the 2019 election, according to Global News sources.

Based on recent information from the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS), those efforts allegedly involve payments through intermediaries to candidates affiliated with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), placing agents into the offices of MPs in order to influence policy, seeking to co-opt and corrupt former Canadian officials to gain leverage in Ottawa, and mounting aggressive campaigns to punish Canadian politicians whom the People’s Republic of China (PRC) views as threats to its interests.

CSIS told Global News it could not answer some questions for this story. But the service confirmed it has identified the PRC’s foreign interference in Canada, which can include covert funding to influence election outcomes."

Trudeau committed treason got away with it. He is corrupt and is getting away with it. Corruption is part of his brand. Trade minister Mary Ng awarded a contract to a friend breaching ethics rules.

Trudeau cabinet minister Mary Ng will not resign for violating Federal conflict of interest act because Justin Trudeau did not resign for violating Federal conflict of interest act, multiple times. The Liberals have internalized political corruption. It is now part of their brand. -- Lorrie Goldstein

Trudeau Government who is unable to manage the Pay System of his own employees, the passports, the immigration system and many others of his responsability, now want to manage the Provinces Health Systems.
The Health Systems that the Federal Governments agreed to finance at 50% but is now financing at 22 %.
He is responsible too of providing housing and water supply for First Nations in remote regions without much successes.

One of the ways Trudeau committed treason is that he is sending millions of taxpayers money to foreign countries. If a nation is in debt, the leader has no business sending citizens money to foreigners. As you can see he reduced federal funding for healthcare but seems to have plenty to send to foreign countries and to give asylum seekers a free hotel and monthly paychecks. This folks is the definition of treason.

What I do not understand is after the past three years and the disaster of the healthcare, how is it that leftist voters still want politicians and bureaucrats to control healthcare? That is a recipe for disaster as we have all seen.

Trudeau will be implementing more payroll taxes to fund his ridiculous spending spree. On top of his CERB, the commie made it very easy for people to claim EI (one of the reasons there is a labor shortage). Now we will all pay for people who sat home and got paid. Not to worry, the commie will keep on finding more ways to steal peoples money with more taxes. Workers will be paying significantly more, employers will pay even more EI and CPP premiums, expect things to get even more expensive all thanks to Trudeau, biggest moron ever. With all this government created inflation due to needless covid mandates, the last thing anyone needs are more taxes. Keep on voting Liberal, Trudeau will rob you all blind till your pockets are empty.

The way Trudeau is spending he needs more taxes, five key taxes will be increasing, EI and CPP premiums, in April alcohol escalator taxes will go up (an April Fools joke), and the carbon tax will go up, in July the clean fuel act (another type of carbon tax) will go up. Even with all these extra taxes, it still will not be enough to fund Trudeau's reckless spending spree. Amazing at how many people are so foolish to vote for Trudeau.

So while other countries are cutting taxes, Trudeau keeps on increasing taxes. Time the government gets it spending under control.

And the alternative is Pierre Poilièvre AKA Crypto-Joker, FreeDumb CONvoy Supporter. Loser in a partial election he should have win.
So you rather have a lieing, treasonous, traitor, sleazeball communist as a leader? Since he got elected, poverty has increased by a lot. Taxes keep on going up and new taxes are being added. Rents in Toronto for a 3 1/2 have more then doubled since Trudeau got elected all due to his mass immigration policy. Legault had a meeting with Trudeau asking him to shut down Roxham Rd and limiting immigration to Quebec to 50,000. Legault is 100% right.

As for the convoy, you are lucky some people sacrificed for other people to enjoy their freedom today. They had no plans to leave us alone. Two years of destruction to mental health, the economy all for a cold. And the after effects of the damage is not finished, mass inflation and a recession is coming for sure in 2023. Trudeau wanted to do here what they did in China. Even the Chinese got fed up and retaliated after 2 years.

What Canada needs is Maxime Bernier, he is the best to lead Canada. The next one would be Pierre Poilievre. Seriously, anyone but Trudeau would be better. Trudeau is the worst Canada has ever had, you cannot do worse then him.

The majority of Canadians want Justin Castro to resign. Rightfully so, he is the worst Canada has ever had. But the power hungry greedy scumbag will never step down, he has no shame or ethics at all.

Extract from the poll.
"When Ipsos asked whether there should be a federal election in 2023, 51% said no and 49% said yes. Men were more likely than women to say yes – 51% to 46%. Support was strongest for having a federal vote in Atlantic Canada (63%), Alberta (60%) and Saskatchewan and Manitoba (both 55%)."

Since when 49% is a majority? In the dreams of some people living on Fantasy Island I guess. This is not serious stock

Not going to happen with this Socialist coup. When Singh decides to break the alliance, only then will there be an election before 2025. To fellow left wing contributors, Socialism is coming to an end soon, more and more people are waking up. Some will remain asleep forever. It will take years to undo the damage Justin Castro caused.

Interesting you failed to mention this, nice example of Cherry picking.

Extract from Article:

As for Justin Trudeau, the majority of voters in every part of the country, except Quebec, think it is time for him to step down. Nationwide, 54% say Trudeau should step down as prime minister and Liberal leader to let someone else take over.
That viewpoint has the highest level of support in Alberta (65%), followed by 57% in Atlantic Canada (57%) and Ontario, Saskatchewan and Manitoba (all 56%).

Come on Like_It_Hot, I expected better from you. See even me I have always been a Liberal voter... Till now. I want Justin Trudeau to step down, I want him gone. I would still vote for the Liberal party (Not for the Socialist Party of Canada like what we have right now under Justin Castro). For some reason in Quebec, there are many Socialist supporters. They need to spend some weeks in Cuba and understand. Seems the last two years of a disastrous healthcare system and more and higher taxes is not enough to wake them up!

Justin Castro has flipped, I am convinced he has mental issues because these are not actions of a normal sane man. Trudeau is ramping up his mass immigration plan to bring in 500,000 new immigrants, the most any country is bringing in and those numbers does not include asylum seekers. Biden made the right decision to crack down on illegal border crossings while Trudeau is welcoming all with open arms giving them a free hotel and monthly paychecks. Since Trudeau got elected, homelessness has increased to levels I never seen before. A 3 1/2 apartment in Toronto rents for over $2200 per month. Why? All due to rapid population increase. One has to question his motives. There is a housing crisis and that was caused by rapid population increase. Excessive immigration is causing more poverty, more wealth inequality, the healthcare system is already beyond capacity which will make it more worse, more pollution, lower wages for existing jobs. Makes no sense. The sooner Trudeau is gone the better. Many people are fleeing the big cities to go to other provinces in the hopes to find more affordable housing, but eventually those places will not be immune is excessive immigration continues.
